Dear Blizzard,
Please
I request you to add the trading post discount vendors (or the discounted items at least) to Stormwind and Orgrimmar as well. The 2 year celebration is for all retail wow players who have been active each day/month since Trading Post’s release; and not just for who owns The War Within expansion. There are many retail wow players including myself who have been actively subbed and playing wow since DF & even before but did not buy TWW expansion. Having the discount vendor only in Dornogal and making them available for Feb month only, restricts retail players like us from the celebration.
Please, I request again. Make the discounted trading post items available in Stormwind and Orgrimmar as well.

wait the discount vendors aren’t staying?
nope. they last this month only.
imagine playing retail and not actually owning retail.

To be fair, it is nonsense that they aren’t in main cities too

Why is it nonsense? Businesses are gonna business. This only affects players that refuse to buy TWW…and maybe encourages them to spend that $49 (cant see the current price, but its on sale all the time)

Thats cool, but I’m really surprised that this is the only time they have done something like this. Most games like this have more “perks” for players that pay the full price

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if the reason was due to lack of space to fit the other vendors especially Stormwind, rather than not owning TWW lol
I’d have to disagree with you there.
The Incognitro Felcycle mount was another thing only accessible to players owning TWW, because it required the NPCs from new expansion zones. Even though the entirety of other Secrets of Azeroth quests being accessible without interacting with new zones. Fortunately, the bike can still be obtained whenever so never became much of a concern.
However, the discounted Trading Post items limited to this month surely do apply even stricted limitations for players like us.
Disagree with me about what exactly?
That you mentioned “reason was due to lack of space to fit the other vendors especially Stormwind, rather than not owning TWW”.
I didn’t say that was the reason, I am saying I wouldn’t be shocked if that was the case
where’d you see that the trading post outlet is only for the month of Feb? Figured it’d be staying.
I don’t disagree. But the TP is current content, and also belongs in the current expac zone.
Considering the TP has never required you to have the current expansion before, only an active sub—it does seem a bit unfriendly of them to introduce a TP feature that suddenly does require the current expansion, when this has never been the case until now. I doubt they’ll add extra vendors, but I hope they do. Good luck OP

Writing again to bring some visibility to my post/ request, in hopes the staff sees it.
As the kind person above mentioned, “TP has never required to have the current expansion before, only an active sub”; so please don’t astray from original idea. Let the anniversary celebration actually be for everyone who’s been together since the start in this journey.

Why play Retail if you aren’t going to play the current expansion? Just buy TWW.
To everybody saying, “Just buy TWW,” there’s legitimate reasons for not doing so! When WotLK first came out, I had to wait about 10 months before I could play it! My old laptop was a potato, and it really struggled to play BC. The WotLK pre-patch almost killed it, and the CD couldn’t install WotLK onto it.
I had to wait these months to save up money to buy a laptop that could play WotLK. (But hey, I spent my time well in Outland. Finished almost all the reps, and farmed a lot of mounts.)
So there’s legitimate reasons for not having TWW — you never know…
EDIT: and I’m genuinely shocked there’s no trade vendors in Org/SW. Why on earth, Blizzard?

To be fair, retail without TWW is included in your sub for “free”…its a great deal if all you want to do is farm old content
