Hello team,

Having an issue linking guild to discord channel. When I click link, nothing happens. No errors.

  • My discord account is linked
  • I can see our discord in the drop down
  • I can click the channel I want
  • I am on my GM character
  • No addons
  • We run 2 guilds, I was able to do our alt storage guild without any issue
  • I’ve unlinked our alt guild and still cannot link our main guild

This is for our core guild on thrall https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-us/guild/us/thrall/valor

Any suggestions? My only thought is since it worked on our alt guild and not our main it could be just because we have 120+ people on right now and its lagging? Not sure.

I opened a ticket and was recommended to submit a bug here.

I’m having the same problem, and had another officer who is the discord moderator try as well - we both get to the point of hitting the in game link button and nothing happens.

Our discord does have a code of conduct that has to be agreed to to join? That’s our only theory on why it won’t work at all.

Experiencing a similar issue. Main guild on NA was able to connect to the Discord server fine, but the sister guild over on EU side wasn’t able to connect.

Hitting the link button does nothing for them.

Same issues. When clicking link, nothing happens. Our alt guild I was able to link with no issue.

Same issue here as well, troubleshooted for hours with one of my officers who is a software engineer and he wasn’t able to figure it out after extensive troubleshooting.

I’ve had the same thing happen as well… I’ve even transferred ownership of the guild attempting to figure it out as well, still nothing

Also having the issue where nothing happens after link. I’m the Discord admin & GM.

Had it working for a minute, then unlinked to switch channels and now nothing happens when I click “link” in game.

Same issue here. Click Link to the channel and it then does nothing.

Also having this issue for our guild and discord.

Have tried:
unlinking and relinking discord/wow
changing guild master
removing onboarding for our discord
removing the “agree to the rules” for our discord
disabling all addons
full restart and relog of bnet

I am having the same issue.

A few things I have tried to identify the issue:

  • Swapped GMs
  • Disconnected link on GM’s character and relink
  • Used bank toon’s guild to link to discord (This was successful, but only the bank alt’s can post and see feedback in game from/to discord)
  • Link to a different discord does the same thing, linking from bank toon guild links just fine

It seems like it is an issue with the main guild itself and not discord. We have checked the settings on the guild and compared it to the bank toon guilds. No differences in setup were identified.

I’m having the same issue; it gets stuck. Even though my guild has a lot of inactive members, there are over 500 characters in total—I don’t know if that has anything to do with it. I even unlinked and relinked several times to check for issues; the server channels kept showing up, but the link button never actually worked. I even waited half an hour without a new option appearing, and it’s driving me crazy…

Having the exact same issue as well; clicking the link button after seeing the drop down list and nothing happens. On OCE / Frostmourne server.

Update - After submitting a support ticket/posting in this thread, the linking to discord looks to be functional now for my main guild.

My discord integration with Battle.net is setup. Looks to be successful. However, my messages in guild chat are not being sent over to the discord channel. The rest of my guild however has no issues. I am the admin for the discord sever, and have set up the channel.

edit: i cannot post directly (using discord) in the integrated channel as well

One of my officers tried it this morning and it’s working now. Not sure if it was me or if they fixed it in the patch this morning. Our issue was the “link” button no doing anything.

My GM having the issue where from discord side, his message sent from discord to in game is not going through but his messages from In game to discord are going through.
