I’ve posted this elsewhere ( Curse of Ula’tek: Link Your Battle.net Account to Discord - #61 by Poisonenvy-1934281 ) but realised there was a PTR section here so am posting here as well.
I’ve tested the options for names with the discord/wow chat integration and I’m fairly sure you’ve got the buttons the wrong way round.
When selecting the option “last online character”:
-
typing in discord, results in the in-game chat showing the Discord Global Name.
-
typing in Wow, results in the discord channel showing my Discord name with my character name (alongside a small “Wow” game symbol).
When selecting the option “Discord Global Name”:
- it showed only my discord name in discord and only my character name in-game, irrespective of which chat I typed in.
I’ve reported this as a bug on the PTR too.
