Discontinued MOUSE brand, can't use MOUSE BUTTON 6 onwards

Hello

I just bought a new mouse and did not know it was a discontinued brand.

It has a total of 8 buttons including the wheel click

The biggest problem is my computer and wow is not sensing the 6,7 & 8MB (Mouse buttons). This is standard and usually requires a third party program/ software to bind new keys, however my brand is discontinued and can’t find a program for it.

The mouse brand and model is Rapoo VT300 Optical gaming mouse.
I have spent the last 6 hours surfing the whole internet and downloading MULTIPLE programs and still have not gotten it to work. Majority of posts are all related to Logitech or Razor brands which do not help my discontinued problem.

PLEASE, ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!! Even if it requires a manual hotkey bind for eg. Ctrl + F9.

I Can’t even figure out how to sense that button to bind it to anything.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP, I AM SOOO FRUSTRATED.

It looks like a logitech g502 clone, even to the retail box

Have you tried that software to see if it registers

I’m assuming you tried this link? http://dl.rapoo.com/ce_jian.rar It’s labeled Download driver for Rapoo custom side buttons(General)

Thanks for the reply.

Any idea how to go about that? i’ve downloaded Logitech Gaming software, Logitech G-HUB & Logitech Setpoint.

I see no accessible tab, all i’m able to see is the words “Please insert Logitech Gear” or “Cannot detect Logitech product”.

Is there any link or so you could share to download this software?

Any help is appreciated.

Try the guy’s post above yours?

I’ve tried, but my computer believes that those files may contain malware. They also look quite “Shifty” so i’d prefer to stay away from those links.

I 've went on the actual Rapoo website and on multple regions of that website to try and download the software. I found the mouse and software i believe on the EU region of Rapoo website but the download links for ALL software products on the site does not work. Tried it on EI, Firefox and chrome. it seems the Rapoo website is just discontinued all together.

I guess that’s one of the benefits of going mainstream with parts
