Disconnects only with Windows Defender enabled

When I have Windows Defender enabled, I am disconnected from WoW regularly. My latency still shows green, but I get disconnected after being online for a certain amount of time. It feels roughly like the same amount of time each time before I am disconnected.

I have added battle net, wow, wow classic, the launcher, etc, as permitted apps to Windows Defender, but I still get disconnected.

The only thing that helps is disabling Windows Defender while I play. Is there a way to have Windows Defender enabled while I play and not get disconnected? With it disabled, I get no disconnections at all.

I reset Defender to default settings so it would hopefully prompt me when I start up battle net or WoW, but it never did prompt me. I had to manually go in and add all the programs to Defender as permitted. Defender does prompt me for other programs permissions (permission through Defender firewall) like Spotify though. Could this be related? Like I said though, I have added all the WoW related apps I can see, and Defender being enabled still results in me being disconnected.

You may need to add the entire directory for each game and Bnet.

Oh duh. Nevermind, I see what you mean. Thank you!! I’ll see if it works

This isssue has not been resolved at all. Tried disabling windows defender and still getting disconnects frequently.

The game was working fine until march 29th. What the hell is going on, i don’t understand MVP saying its a user related issue when i been playing this game (classic) for a year without any problems.
