This is still happening frequently. I will mount, press the space bar to launch and bam, disconnected. Not just once but often during play.

I am having the same problem but it is on my druid. Every time I fly upwards and get dazed by a mob it disconnects me. Happened to me twice today and I am dying because the mobs are attacking me while I am disconnected.
So just reporting this happened again just now. Its becoming a bit annoying.
Where is this happening? I only find it happens to me in Legion content. And once it has happened to a character, they can never fly straight up or down again without dc’ing.
However, a workaround is to train yourself not to hit the up or down key without moving in the forward direction. Kind of sucks but better than being unplayable.
On this occasion it was in Wrath content, in Northrend.
Its just habit to hit the spacebar to rise, especially when Im on a druid and want to get away fast. And its also annoying because I use the Loot Appraiser add on when Im doing mog runs or gathering to get an idea of my hourly income, and when I get disconnected it turns off the data, so I lose it all.
Pretty sure this is another example of the hyperactive anti-cheat not registering your movement as legal. I have had it happen in all areas due to flight, jumping off rocks, swimming, sprinting, blinking, charging, etc.
Has anybody found a fix to this? It’s just started happening to me on my druid, in legion. I take off in flight and disconnect instantly.
