I, and a friend of mine, have been having severe issues during dungeons with disconnects.
I have checked a tracenet to us.battle.net, and have had no issues. My internet is completely fine, as is my friends. We do not live near each other, and we are both having the same issues on different servers.
I have characters on both Proudmoore and Dalaran and experience this issues regardless of the server connected.
I will be in the middle of a dungeon, or in Dornogal, and seemingly disconnect within 1-2 hours. If I restart my game frequently, I never have issues. I have to restart at least once every hour.
I have reinstalled x2, I have purged all addons and saved information, I have verified my drivers are properly installed, I have run a repair scan on the game, I have changes my graphics settings to every numerical option available, I have changed the number of audio channels, I have tried numerous solutions and come to the same result.
No latency before disconnects, just a frozen screen and then a disconnect within 1-2 seconds. This issue began with the recent patch, as this was not relevant prior. This occurs on Windows. I was originally on Linux, but switched to Windows 2 weeks before this issue began to occur.
I am a loss. This is extremely frustrating and I have been unable to find a solution with the resources I have found. It was comforting to know this isn’t isolated to me, as my friend who lives across the country has the exact same issue.
