Getting disconnected at start of every couple of pet battles (wild pets battles and world quest pet battles). Looks like it may only be affecting Demon Hunters. See post on Tech Support forum.

Disconnect continues to happen even after following the steps in the Reseting WoW UI article.
I am also having this issue. Two different DHs on my account disconnect me when starting pet battles. Druid and DK at least are not effected.
happening to me too. it used to be every 4 or 5 pet battles but it quickly turned into not being able to do pet battles at all.
i been doing some battles for charms with 5 different classes and toons, and the only one that disconnected me right as soon as i clicked the battle pet was in my DH
Interesting. I get the battle pet disconnects (starting PvE battle pet battles) and am also a DH.
This is affecting my demon hunter as well, and it’s horrible. Every other pet battle I disconnect right at the start of the battle. It’s a huge pain for pet battling.
This effecting me as well. Every other pet battle on my DH disconnects, but on my DK it’s fine.
My girlfriend’s demon hunter is also getting disconnected almost every pet battle. No issues on my shaman. Would love to hear some acknowledgement from blizzard on the issue.

My DH right now is getting disconnected on every pet battle WQ, but then when I re-connect, I would try the same pet battle right away, and it does stay connected.
I’m having same issues with DH only.
Confirming that this is still happening today after the recent extended maintenance on my demon hunter.

Yep. Still needs attention please. I’ve found I can /reload before a pet battle and I won’t d/c but I have to remember to do it, every-single-pet battle. This is just a workaround and not a solution. Let’s get this corrected folks.
Still happening after today’s maintenance (11/3/2020)
After yesterday’s maintenance (11/10/2020), I have yet to be disconnected during a pet battle. Fingers crossed!
No difference for me, my dh is still getting disconnected. I even tried Terribella’s reload workaround and that didn’t work. 
ETA: Like Mathaylia, I have had this happen only the first time I engage a WQ pet/trainer, daily quest trainers, or wild pet. After logging back in, I can engage the same target just fine.
ETA: I stand corrected, I was just disconnected twice for the first time.
Update (11/15/2020): It is still happening, but far less frequently. I was able to level 30ish pets yesterday using Squirt, and only got DC’d once, right at the beginning.
This is still happening. I notice it occurs if flee from too many pet battles in a row. Really annoying for rare hunting.
