Disconnected during Horrific Vision

I disconnected during a horrific vision after doing two side areas.

I got the corrupted mementos but not Fear and Flesh pages. Opened a ticket and apparently there is nothing they can do? They’ve stated they can’t refund Vessel of Horrific Visions, fine I understand that. But to get no reward? Why can’t it be mailed like everything else is.

‘Only rewards will send to your character via in-game mail. Since Fear and Flesh pages are quest items, I am afraid that they won’t send to character in this situation.’

Is this legit? Anyone else had a similar experience.

The hardest instance boss. You’d think Blizz would have nerfed it by now.

I have never understood the red tape in Blizzard’s Game Master program. In almost all instances it seems like GM’s can’t help players with legitimate issues like this.

It can’t be mailed because your character didn’t reach the loot generation screen.

If you have disconnected at the point where you need to loot chests, then maybe.

You would think they could track that error on their end. Either way I wasn’t that upset about it.

Next time, don’t play on wifi…

But really, if you had earned the rewards, they’d be in the mail… but as you didn’t complete the 2nd area, it’ll show as an incomplete zone… and if i’m not mistaken, you don’t get any texts for only 1 area completed.

You should copy/paste this into Support/CS tho’.

BTW, fix that name while you’re at it… no wonder you can’t find groups to do your Visions with! I’d hate to try to invite you! The game’s a LOT more fun with friends!

they probably can’t - if you have a quest and you need to loot something and don’t loot it then the quest hasn’t been completed. So maybe even getting disconnected at that final point before you loot the chests wouldn’t even be enough.

I never get disconnected from Wow, or a vision, ever.

I’m not sure if it is something unique to my Cox Internet connection, with 18 ms/18 ms to Baelgun, from NEBRASKA (oddly enough.), or is because I’ve only played in Linux since the BC expansion.

Meanwhile, on my XBOX ONE I’m disconnected WAY TOO MUCH in the middle of stuff in Red Dead Online (such as a moonshiner/trader deliver mission :sob: ) “you’ve been disconnected due to a fault with the rockstar game servers…”

I actually think there is a movement bug in the game right now causing disconnects. I rarely do get disconnected as well but every so often I move my character a certain way/place and bam disconnect.

They absolutely can help. But they won’t. Because they’re told not to. Because…wait for it…TIME PLAYED METRIC.

Those guys who you talk to in making a ticket aren’t given the ability to give you items.

In this case, it actually makes sense because they have no way of knowing without checking logs of exactly where OP was when he disconnected and they sure aren’t going to set a precedence for that kind of thing.

I keep hearing people talk about it and I assume that it is something that is really happening but as a DH who loves to use fel rush as a general movement feature, I haven’t even experienced it myself. Maybe i am lucky or my connection is more stable, who knows but I can’t remember being disconnected while using fel rush or retreat to zoom around.

someone else mentioned a movement bug and that seems to me what is happening with me as well - only happens a couple of times a month though
