Right now if you right click in the distance while dragon riding it disconnects you. I am able to repeat it instantly every time and friends are able to repeat it as well.

I have been having the same issue since the patch, it seems especially bad near water but yes right-clicking (with click-to-move enabled) seems to be a trigger. Also, it only seems to happen with the “Thrill of the Skies” buff for me.
Also, this may be a separate issue, but once the dc happens you can wind up in a dc loop where logging in again results in a dc within a few seconds if you are still in motion.

Edit : I’ve been disconnected every time with or without addons, and Bnet services crash as well. Rebooted PC, did all of the things.
Could we get a blue post in here or something, please? Now I’m stuck in an infinite DC loop. All because I wanted a bubble poppy

I’m having the same issue, I disconnect while in dragonlands. trying to land and i disconect. Fix this issue blizzard.
Same issue here. Never had the issue before today. Now it is nearly unplayable. Constantly DC during dragon riding. All aspects of flight, but most common at thrill of the skies speeds and when trying to control my dragon.
I’m having the same disconnect issue when right clicking in the distance while trying to land or guide the dragon to a certain area.
Well here it is Tuesday and my flying still isnt fixed. I bet it i was a streamer it would be fixed quickly. Maybe i will start to stream to show people.
I’ve had non-stop disconnects and/or DC loops since the 24/01/2023 patch update. This only occurs when dragonriding. I’ve submitted bug reports, done all the suggested fixes from Blizzard Support; nothing’s working. A large part of the hype around the expansion was being able to fly your own dragon; not being able to fly AT ALL impacts gameplay as well as quality of life, as there are WQs that require flying.

Do we have a fix, or none still?
atm NONE, this makes game playing horrible. There was another post last month i guess they took it basically down so no one can comment because It was not posted into the bug report, so there are more just like you and I.

It also seems to dc if you’re too close to an object with collision when you try to launch off the ground. That one is a little trickier to reproduce.
Seems to be fixed, no issues so far. Fingers crossed!
This seems to be the version of this problem I have and is still happening nowadays, happened in remix and still happens in war within.
I would say I get dc once a day because of this issue, and when I’m about to be DC I realise it’s the same thing I did before that causes it.
