Did anyone just get disconnected from the game a few minutes ago, with “No Realms Available” when trying to reconnect?

They announced a 1 hour maintenance since yesterday.

It’s a live maintenance, or at least it’s supposed to be.

apparently in 2023 live maintenance actually means all servers offline completely.

Yep! There is a “Live Maintence” going on today from 7-8 am Pacific time that will impact connections. You may disconnect but should be able to log back in. Don’t do anything that is critical right now.
The notice for it is on the Launcher on the WoW tab.
It would not be shocking to have restarts or other interruptions though. I am going to just have coffee and maybe do some garden stuffs

Live Maintenance would imply the servers are still online… but they are definitely not. I suspect the teams that run the maintenance windows and the teams that announce them got their wires crossed somewhere…
I just got back in game so they’re coming up.

Entirely possible! The team that does the posts is the Community team - and that is mostly the Support Forum Agents. They handle the CS Twitter, launcher announcements, and posting. It is a small team, many in TX, and only had the info they are given from the server engineer type folks. A 7am pacific time start is also before they start shifts I think. I THINK the normal shifts are a bit later in the morning and run into later in the evening to align with when more players are active.
I saw a lot of reports about the new events not working right, so hopefully they are doing something about that?
