So every 37 mins past the top of the hour I lose connection to WoW and the blizzard launcher then it quickly reconnects and I can log back into the game. Everything is hardwired. Any help on how to tackle this would be appreciated.
I did a ping -t test to the server I think I’m connecting too around the time it starts to disconnect and I end up getting a request time out and then destination unreachable for a couple pings then its back to normal.

Thank you for taking the time to reach out with that information. Disconnecting in specific intervals like this is typically going to be caused by a network-level setting/configuration that needs to be adjusted by logging into your router/modem. With that in mind, the best option here would be to test an alternate network such as a VPN or your mobile phone’s hotspot when the problem usually occurs, and see if the disconnect happens while using the alternate network.
If a disconnect does not occur 37 minutes after the top of the hour when using a different network, this would indicate that the problem is indeed isolated to your regular home network. If this is the case we can only recommend contacting the ISP for assistance determining what is causing the disconnects. They may adjust specific security/firewall settings on your modem or temporarily replace the device to narrow it down further. Keep in mind that you can request to speak with a “level 2 or level 3 technician” when contacting the ISP, as the front-line representatives typically only have access to basic diagnostics and troubleshooting tools.
I hope this helps you get back to playing uninterrupted! Let us know if you have any questions going forward.
Its definitely not something on your end. Just did the same test but to google’s 8.8.8.8 and I had the same result. I’ll mess around with the router and see if I can do anything before I give my ISP a call.
