Disconnect between what the devs want for fury and what the players want

Look I understand arms is playable in m+ and maybe that is why the devs are ok with fury being terrible. As fury players we would really enjoy if our cds did some damage in keys. If you go watch any fury warrior in keys you will see our capstones are so bad that we aren’t even taking roar in ST or in AOE. It seems as if they are scared to buff our capstones ever since the nerubar palace incident and it would be great if the devs could rebalance our damage so that we can actually have useful cds in either raid or in m+. Raid tuning is fine for fury but mythic plus fury needs a lot of love so if the devs could just take a look for an hour or two that would be great.

both warrior dps specs are B tier and D tier respectfully in M+ and going by current rankings, not top 10 for raid, and not top in pvp either. Not sure what direction blizzard has for dps warrior coming up, but everything points to “lmao switch to prot”.

Yea it’s actually depressing I used to have so much fun popping my cds and see my damage go up. The crazy burst has always been why I played fury but now I go in pop my cds and there is just no damage.

Honestly? It’s more the Devs have focused on the wrong aspects of feedback for Fury either from feedback from the community itself or people crying about their pad being taken for them that lead to the S1 TWW nerfs.

Fury had such a solid future if Storm of Swords/Annihilator gameplay was received better than the community’s initial reaction to it in S3 when it was forced as the meta.

Unfortunately we’re still reaping the rewards from their overcorrection in the opposite of making us spam raging blow until our eyes bleed.

They need to go back to basics of what makes fury fun and remove the Meat Cleaver mechanic while placing more emphasis on abilities that are not called Raging Blow. Remove reset mechanics, remove slaughtering strikes. Go back to the CD based gameplay of build to spend that we all enjoyed in previous iterations of fury.

I’d even say reduce it’s rage generation so rampage can hit harder and be more impactful when it’s pressed so talents like Titan’s Torment can actually shine.
