Discipline Initial Thoughts

Im excited to play with the healer updates and disc especially but why remove rapture and focus more on ultimate penitence? Isn’t UP more rarely taken than rapture? At the least maybe making them a choice node would be more appropriate. I still prefer lights wrath but I won’t beat that horse rn.

I like the SW:P, and Evangelism changes. I hope Divine Aegis remains relevant and I still think PW:R should apply a shield not a heal but I like the changes overall at first glance.

I was a little sad about smite losing the mindbender cooldown reduction but some of these changes seem really cool. I do feel like losing Rapture for Evangelism is a net loss in m+ because we struggle the most when healing a single target currently.

I’d like to see Oracle become good in m+ but for that to happen I think smite and penance are going to need way more base damage. Currently Disc feels like it really only heals during Voidweaver’s rifts due to all the modifiers being stacked and a measly 25% smite buff is not going to be nearly enough.

Edit: looking at the Oracle tree again to jog my memory, I am actually pretty excited for these changes. Still have concerns with base atonement healing but it looks fun.

No Class Tree rework, no interrupt, no HardCC, nothing new.
Why forcing us to play a bad design skill like UltPenitence?! Are you kindding @Blizzard?!
