It is a testament to American exceptional idiocy that the only spec in the game with melee-based CC is the only spec in the game without a stun or interrupt.
A further examination of the moronic mess that has been created shows that every single utility talent is complete and total dogwater.
Mind Control: Sucks
Mass Dispel: Sucks
Mind Games: Sucks
Void Tendrils: Sucks
Our PVP Talent Choices:
Inner Light & Shadow – Stupid talent should be baseline completely mandatory
Radiance – Stupid talent should be baseline or Disc should be balanced around POM and Radiance should burn in hell.
Greater Fade – Mandatory in 3’s 99% of the time
Catharsis – Sometimes completely dead if they don’t attack you sometimes semi decent.
Everything else: Sucks
Every single aspect of Disc design could be improved upon by a typewriter chimp. The only way the spec functions as well as it does is through damage numbers for VW and absorb numbers as Oracle so basically a 2-3 button combination of buttons for damage or healing depending on hero talent choice. Even MOP Disc which sucks has Spectral, Inner focus (another Disc spell given to holy priest by idiots), Spirit Shell and POM that doesn’t suck.
Disc should be returned to its glory as the greatest species of healer to ever grace the arena, and every other healer spec are beta weak maggots and all words from then in the contrary of this post should be muted and treated with hatred and contempt. If Disc was great, we wouldn’t even let holy priest or resto druid exist Disc would be the only healer in the arena.

Facts give disc stun silence from sp and give them door of shadows and make mind blast hit fir 10mil and make mc a guaranteed dc instead of 50/50

Was just playing mine and getting charged by warriors and you get one fear, then chain kicked, shockwaved, stormbolted. So outrageous. pvp truly is the minigame.
Disc priest do almost as much dps as an actual dps spec. You’ll be alright little buddy

Is targeting a disc priest down a viable strat? I’ve been seeing it called more and more lately and it actually worked.
Targeting healers is always a viable strat, unless it’s like pres with a ret and you’ll never catch them as melee ever.

Not every spec needs everything. They just need door of shadows (id even take a pws, radiance, or penance nerf for it)

Disc should be given door of shadows. Feel like it’ll open up more comps for it. If you’re not playing something setup its nearly impossible to get fears into healers with their monitors turned on.

Not really. It’s not impossible. Most healers just don’t understand how and when that doesn’t mean we make it easy.
Apart from Legion when did Holy have access to Inner Focus?
Only vs void weavers really

Don’t know why everyone is so gung-ho for Door of Shadows, it sucked too. Make it instant and we’ll talk.
I can hop around the map, go in and out of wolf for a constant 30% speed boost with no GCD, even have a CD that lets me cast while moving, slow/root/static totem–hell even can burrow if I choose to run it. Priest can feather and waddle around.
I think its good that it has a cast time, theres some counterplay to it. Kick it and they cant death cc kinda thing
They rebranded it and made it an aoe puddle you put in the ground and become unkickable. I don’t care about door the entire point is if you need to fear people that move faster than you to win you can’t you are old school ret wheelchair mobility and can’t stun, ah and you have to out play every avoidance mechanic unlike everyone else when they have a stun they can facilitate for themselves. Also fearing on 100-200 ping is completely different there is no reason I shouldn’t be able to garuntee some fears with my own CC like every other class in the game (insane this is even arguable to some people).
Ah yes, the circle no one takes because it randomly bugs and doesn’t stop kicks.
I’m just not seeing why a largely immobile class should have counterplay to their mobility when others don’t. lol
Yeah now just apply that logic to garunteeing your own CC atleast some of the time and you have accomplished full tuckyb clarity.
Every mage spec doesn’t have a stun.
Frost at one point had Deep Freeze.
Fire at one point had Impact Stun.
Arcane… I guess never did.
I do remember they were going to make Gravity Lapse a three second stun on a 45 sec CD that was exclusive with Dragons Breath, but that fell through.
I think most mages would give up some of their cc for a stun.
