Like you had to do damage the entire game and manage your atonement healing but it wasn’t actually like you were doing extremely significant damage
It was a way to be more efficient, now the healing output of atone is pretty low but the damage you have is high if you get it off
Schism+trinkets and stuff is def dumb tho

real talk dilly is right. the dmg to atonement ratio in legion felt really good. atonement still feels strong, but only due to the absurd amount of damage disc can pump if left open.
schism -> cyclotronic -> crucible is absurd damage; probably shouldn’t be a real interaction.
What do I even say to this, it’s completely true. Frankly, It’s probably best this way. If disc didn’t die to being tunneled then it would just be an unhinged OP healer with dark arch, crazy dps, offensive dispels, Etc. If they want to make disc a more stable healer, they need to really pull back on the offensive capabilities of disc.
