There is nothing better than being a Disc priest in pvp, at least in tbe 70 bracket. The other healers are overrated.
If you havent tried it yet and you’re still messing around with Shadow… i urge you to give it a shot. 1 Disc priest can completely turn the tide of the battle in BGs.

Holy with a good ret mix. That will wreck you. I could dps down other dps in arenas using my Hpally back in WoTLK in S7 and in S8. And could do it in a matter of seconds too.
What spec do you use. Like a Shockadin type spec?

I think some people forgot how much Disc counters Hpalas.
Disc is fun in a bg for sure… but needs a throughput healer to partner with to really shine.

You’ll see HPally dominate the leaderboards a bit later into Wrath. Off the bat Disc compliments the early brackets due to Feral/Disc and Unholy/Disc being so strong. (Arms isn’t incredible until later ilvls)
By ICC Warrior/HPally will be almost every top 2s comp and will be part of most 3s comps
Yes. I was a shocakdin. Not as good as straight up pure ret and you go oom really fast with your shock spams. But you can really down people fast with that setup. It is viable but there are better options to choose from.
Cant make the glyph in prepatch? That does suck, and might explain why all the Rshams i see seem to flop to melee in BGs.
RSham is weak without peals even with the glyph. They’re the most dependant healers in Wrath, very comp dependent

Yeah in Cata RSham was nuts. That was back when their dispel healed them, was absolutely dumb
Disc gets shat on by some meta comps in Wrath, but as I said in 2s you’ll be pretty dominant until later on.
In 3s a ton of comps run Ele which counters you, and later on Ele/Arms, which really will get you deleted.
Disc is what I’m rolling. So much fun
What comps are you running for S5, Jon?
Feral Disc 2s, 3s probably Feral/Disc/Unholy, but mainly because we have an Unholy buddy. Pushing 2s as I’ve done a lot of that comp on Blackrock
