I have such a good time as Disc when no one is attacking me. The moment pressure gets put on me, I canât do anything but heal myself. I canât do damage. If you let me cast, I will do damage and heal. If you donât let me cast, Iâm done for. Itâs a very all-or-nothing situation. So much depends on your DPS.
Thatâs just not true. Disc will beat a bad dps only if you they kill in the first and only go, because they can burst hard over a short period of time with setup.
Kick dark rep, and youâve screwed the entire burst rotation, fyi.

Youâre playing evoker, the god tier shuffle healer for the first month and a half of DF, youâre at 2500 the first season evoker has even been a thing and youâre complaining disc priest have caught up to you in rating?

Pretty much, itâs curious but since i tried the DP, i only got to be cc chain and not being capable to do anything.
Or if i am the focus of the DPS, to not be able to sustain the damages done.

I kind of doubt that. Only reason devastation can plow people that hard is because they stack mastery and are chilling at like +80% damage bonus during dragon rage. And then they have spellweaverâs dominance and shattering star. No shot a preservation did 240k in 2 buttons

My shaman still crit lightning bolt from Stormkeeper for over 130k even after the 33% nerf.
My monk still casually sun kick people for 90k too.
My prevoker still can dunk people with disintegrate.
Canât speak for druid but healers doing damage is nothing new. Whatâs crazy is when a disc priest stacks all multipliers into a single dark Reprimand, but thatâs basically the same concept as double tap⊠Just stop it, itâs crazy telegraphed and you can stop it with any micro CC.

Can disc survive warrior onslaught yet? Historically disc has never been able to stand toe to toe with warrior alone. Their was tradeoffs for that though, disc can be easy trained but disc teams can kill you fast. If thatâs not the case anymore, then yea, they are probably OP.
Disc should have peels to stay alive.
I think we need door of shadows back tbh so we can go back to being the setup and kill healer. Would give us fear positioning back, and a way to run back to the pillar.
I think I liked door of shadows more than I liked mindgames last xpac. Only reason mindgames was so fun last xpac was because mindgames + maledict turned you into a ret for 5 seconds basically.

There were AWC games where disc did more damage than mages. The casters reactions were pretty funny after seeing the damage breakdowns.
Yea, I had a monk in 2s do ~65% of is healing based of Ancient Teaching alone just pumping damage all game, haha.
In all honesty, the ability to be offensive as a healer is welcomed in my opinion and is part of what makes healing fun for me. So Iâm completely fine with healers having good offensive power. Especially alongside the difficulties of trying to heal in this current meta.
