Disc of the red flying cloud unlocked for all characters?

Once I unlock the rep for this mount will it be available to all of my characters or only the ones who have the appropriate rep?

I believe there are not rep locked mounts.

Only professions, class and faction.

It will unlock for all your characters.

That’s not what rep locked means. You don’t require specific rep to ride it. There’s no mount that requires a specific rep to ride it, only to purchase it.

I have that mount. All my characters (of high enough level) can ride it even if they’ve never been to Pandaria.

I love that mount, with one reservation: if you’re in the water, you have to get to land before you mount up on it. It won’t deploy in the water. I’m not sure why, but it does have that quirk.
