Since 8.1 massive Nerf, We have like 2 viable comps and once our CDs are used up " Barrier "(which you can get feared out of, ring of peace breaks it or even DK grip) “Pain Supression” (3min CD usually get it once per game) and rapture shields are dispellable. We have penance which is a CD and can be kicked, that leaves us with shadow mend which is a weak heal and can be easily kicked, so we need to juke alot on top of that disc has got the worst mana efficiency by far and is the squishest healer in game now (nerf to focused will 15% has hurt us) .
Druids & Monks are best now Then Rshams & Hpal disc is trash now and holy is laughable.

It really is just my luck. Bought my sub in january and decided to main a disc priest for the first time ever because I remember enjoying it in MoP and remember they were boss in legion. Right when I sub they get nerfed to trash. I’m going to stick it out though, maybe they get buffed again next patch… wishful thinking?

Yea same boat kind of. Have a mage and rogue though too. I figured I’d stick to one healer this xpac and try and be good at it and blizzard crapped all over that plan.

At least you have a mage and rogue which are great, fun classes. my other alt classes are pretty trash right now, warlock (terrible for pvp, just a immobile punching bag who takes forever to cast anything), and a FDK…Havne’t even logged in on that toon yet, probably never will.
I am leveling a hunter though which is pretty fun in PvP. I really need to jump on the rogue/warrior/DH /mage bandwagon.

I finally broke last week. I’m DONE trying to ‘make Disc work’ in PvP. The spec is literal hot flaming garbage in PvP compared to other healers. Finally rerolled, I just can’t tolerate it anymore.
This spec has multiple and BIG problems in PvP that unfortunately won’t get fixed for the remainder of BFA. It’s a shame cause Disc has so much potential to be an amazing and fun class for PvP if the devs would get their head out of their collective arses and address them.

Yeh Disc is on the downhill fast.
The nerf to focused will is absolute bull for a class as weak as disc in the first place.
Our healing is that bad, our damage should be buffed and we may aswel be a dps class, it’s absurd.

Welcome to how it felt playing a resto Druid after the nerfs early on in BFA.
Personally I absolutely hate disc priests and will be glad to be rid of them for the time being.

Poor bastard.
It is kinda funny though, because immediately after the nerf, there were the usual people saying ‘its fine, youre just bad’, it definitely swept a lot of disc priests out of even the casual bgs that i do. I mean, skill or no skill, it was a savage nerf, and dpsers like huntards are doing a ton more damage than before…so its in effect a multiplicative nerf.
I can only imagine how frustrating rated pvp is, particularly arena.

I raid as shadow predominately, but still find disc fun to play and prefer it in M+, bgs and arenas despite the nerfs.
It may not be the best but I still find it serviceable.
Different play style but very enjoyable.
Reroll Rdruid arena has only rdruids now.
I rolled diff healer, resto druid, resto shaman and mw all feel 100x better than the hot garbage disc is right now

Ofc it’s hot garbage. a damage based healing spec can never be competative in a pvp environment because it will too often frustrate the lowest common denomination of players who will complain devs ears off until it becomes unplayable.
Yes you always will run out of mana first
Yes you have and always have had
No mobility
No inturrupt
Melee ranged cc
No burst heal
But if a rogue can’t kill you in open world pvp…

Yeah, I decided to main my priest at the beginning of BfA. I loved it. They weren’t invincible. Yeah, it took a few people to kill them but rightly so. They are a healer! After the nerf, as other people have stated, they are absolute trash in pvp. I, of course, felt forced to pick up with one of my other chars and felt like I just wasted a bunch of time once again. I’ve since unsubbed. This game just does nothing but give me high blood pressure anymore.

Disc has a high skill cap, and no easy mode.
ya’ll go on thinking it’s trash.
Resto shaman has it’s issues.
But Disc is fine, it’s the people playing it who have a L2P issue.
