Disc healing while lvling

So i know this is probably meaningless for lvling but i feel not great healing in timewalking. And i want to make sure thata just because time walking scaling is odd.

Im almost lvl 80 (75 now) and ever since i started healing at 10, it hasnt felt great. HPS seems high but there are timea where i have atonement on everyone and im doing mind blast, smiting, dotting and using penance. And i just still feel like im having to panic flash heal the tank because his health is dropping faster than what im healing for. I had a DH last night i couldnt keep up 30% and i ended up getting booted because of it. He was 73 and part of it was he was definitely pulling to much and i couldnt reach him fast enough so i dont think that was entirely on me.

I had the same experience on a resto druid leveling in timewalking. It was a terrible experience. Tuning is part of the problem but also item level can’t keep up to how fast you level. It takes all of the fun out of learning a new class when leveling this way.

Edited to add that the tanks you are healing are probably also undergeared given the tuning changes. I saw the 2nd to last boss in Deadmines killing tanks during the first stun even when topped up.

I wouldn’t worry about it. Not only are you not powerful while leveling, but most tanks don’t know how to play their class and mitigate. Tanks are mostly self sufficient in M+ and disc is really strong in 5 man content right now.
