What are your raid days/times?

Sat/Sun 5PM PST
We’re doing Normal Clears now, Heroic in S2.
We’re very casual, do a lot of timewalking, heroics, and some mythic +
S2 is going to be more focused on the Heroic Raiding.

We’re very laid back.

Just a huge heads up, I was just banned from this guild after the Guild Master accused me of trying to scam its members and made fun of my dying dog. I was the 30th member, had donated over 100k gold, and carried dozens of members through leveling alts, getting into older content, and pvp.

There’s a post on my twitter (which I know he stalks as guild members / an officer have shown me) in where I go over this a bit more in depth, but I can’t link here, but here’s my experience with this guild, as it’s 30th member and the first member to deposite 100,000g.

An Anonymous member of the guild (who has reached out to me since my banning to apologize, not their fault though) donated after I posted about my dog in the #Pets channel on discord. That was about a week ago. Just today I’m banned, with the Guild Leader claiming I’ve made “19,000 tweets harassing people.”

My twitter is public, and I am a partnered ExtraLife streamer, accusations about me scamming people or producing fake charities is so viciously dangerous to the work I do to support Children’s Hospitals across America, and a local dog sanctuary, is so vile and bizarre and since this drama spewed I’ve been informed by friends still within the guild and an officer I play pvp with in classic that the actual problem was I made it clear I wasn’t the biggest fan of the guild leader using AI generated music constantly in the guild despite us being full of talented musicians who would happily have contributed if asked. I was told by this friend that he (GM) also believed my twitter bio having “Award Winning Composer” was taken as a personal jab against him…despite that being in my twitter bio for years now.

Either way, I would avoid this guild. I wasit’s 30th member and I watched it go from being promoted as a Military Guild, to an Endgame PvE / Mythic+ Guild, to a social experiment in where multiple cliques joined and none of them communicated. Being made the target multiple times made me distrust a lot of folks in the discord.

Either way, there’s a group chat of about 20 people from this guild that actually play the game consistently well with each other. I’d recommend people joining the guild if their intention is to join that small group. We’re happy to have more players.

As for the OP / GM. I sincerely hope you realize how vile it is to ask someone “How’s your Dog doing?” when you there is weeks old evidence that their dog was diagnosed with bone cancer, long before it was ever talked about in the guild’s discord.

I don’t expect an apology, but you have taught me that just like in real life, even in WoW you can’t really trust everyone, sadly not even Guild Masters.

Tl;dr- Avoid this guild, GM made jokes about my dog having bone cancer, banned me, then blocked me when they realized I’m an ExtraLife ambassador and there’s a literal tax record of my charity work plus medical invoices from my actual dying 14 year old dog.

This is the only person that has been removed from our community, and I gladly stand by my decision to remove him.

He joined our Discord and shared that his 14-year-old dog had cancer, repeatedly posting his PayPal and asking for donations. While we sympathize with difficult situations, posting personal donation links in our community isn’t something we allow. With so many scams out there, we have to be cautious, and this is not something we condone. I firmly stand by that decision and would ban him again without hesitation.

The player tends to have a very self-important attitude, often emphasizing their worth based on certain actions. For example, after depositing 100,000g, they immediately pressured our officers for a promotion, insisting they deserved it because they were the 30th member and had donated gold. We eventually granted the promotion, though not without hesitation.

Examples:

To be honest, I don’t even know what ExtraLife is, nor do I care. I’m here to play wow, and have a good time. I believe all of our players feel the same way.

We fully support and respect the hobbies and creative choices of our members! Whether someone enjoys making AI-generated Midjourney art, creating AI music, or contributing to the community in their own way, it’s all welcomed and encouraged. Everyone is free to share and promote their AI creations, and we embrace all forms of creativity with open arms. :blush:

Player was banned for failing to follow the rules in Discord, and not following community rules.

  • Player enjoys griefing people on Wow Classic Hardcore by intentionally killing players via kiting mobs to get other people killed, than bragging about it. (Bannable Offense)
  • Player kept nagging about how important he was, “Top Producer, 30th Guild Member, Best DPS, Most Hardworking Guildie,” Etc… It went from a theatrical experience to an annoying one real quick.
  • Posting his paypal link to Discord. (Yeah no)
  • I don’t use twitter, because I don’t care about social media too much. Player has like 40,000 tweets of him trolling on Twitter. (Not someone we want in the guild).

I never posted my paypal in the discord and this is a flat out lie. I never posted my Paypal. I posted about my dog having cancer in the pets channel during a discussion about losing pets. A guild member (who has since left the guild) donated and I anonymously thanked them.

There’s also zero evidence I griefed people in Hardcore Classic. You’re referring to a situation where a guild member got angry that I participated in Pvp. Consensual Pvp that you agreed is what Hardcore Pvp servers were designed for. YOU were actually the one who said you used to kite mobs, to which many of us said “Well that’s kinda weird.”

All of the information you’re claiming here was debunked by guild members who left the guild in a twitter thread I made going over this situation.

The claim I have 40,000 tweets “trolling” is insane as well, you were told I was an ExtraLife Ambassador and more than half of my tweets involve charities.

ExtraLife has been raising millions of dollars a year for Children’s Cancer research and Children’s Hospitals for decades. I’ve worked with them directly since 2019. You saying you don’t know or care about them is quite insane and kind of proves my point that you’re the issue here.

To clarify, I also didn’t join the discord and instantly share about my dog. I was literally one of the discords first members, as I was one of the guilds first members. The discussion about my dog occured three months after the guilds founding.

The fact even one of your officers is still in the side server we made for people in the guild who wished to play Hardcore Classic says a lot about this situation. I also never pressured offers for a promotion, speaking of Officers I guess. I asked how promotions worked ONCE after being in the guild for two months and still having the “new member” role despite having other various roles for events.

As for the discussing my history with other MMOS / being a top player in them and such…this was in a channel where you were looking for people to mentor players on roles, in which I discussed having done this as a PARTNERED FF14 CONTENT CREATOR lol.

Again, my entire online history is very public and the fact that even the World of Warcraft subreddit had a thread about my situation where everyone called you out and without my influence also donated to my Dog’s bone cancer fund.

The fact you end this whole thing with a sting about AI music sort of just leads me to continue to believe that you saw people in the guild recognize me as someone who’s worked in AAA Gaming as a sound designer / composer and got jealous over it which like…I don’t know man, I was always supportive of you and even tried to talk to you about music production from time to time and you always gave me the cold shoulder.

Just know that there’s literally a side discord of HOPE members and I still play with them and they strongly disagree with you being the GM. They’re just sticking around for the giveaways.

I know this wasn’t your intentions, and like I said I don’t know how hard it would have been for someone like you who prides themselves on honoring the military and honor and all that to see someone who was inviting Veterans to play with fellow veterans in classic and apologize after making fun of their dog dying because you believed it was a scam or you had some weird grudge against me having a career in creating music and art and that somehow triggering an insecurity you have about your own work.

Like I said, there was never a paypal. The SINGLE tweet I made about my dog (which is on my twitter and not in your discord) talked about us setting up a donation line via art sales, as in purchases of my art would be going to her treatment. I never once posted a paypal link because there is no paypal link.

You really, really should have thought all this through before trying to assassinate the character of someone who’s had an incredibly positive presence on the internet for over a decade, dude. I get that you keep saying that’s me “bragging” or being “entitled” but it’s just how the cookie crumbles…when someone with a following in the five digit range joins your guild, promotes your virtues, and makes attempts to contribute positively and you view that as a bad thing because I make traditional art and you don’t…that’s on you dude. But you can’t expect someone who’s tweets reach millions of people to make a tweet about how heartbroken I was to be attacked by you and it not result in thousands of people going “Wow, that guild sounds like a red flag.”

EDIT: Quickly throwing this in because I missed it. Not once did I ever say I was the “hardest working guildie.” I barely talked in the guild discord because of the hostility I felt when you were around, something many other people picked up on which is one of the HUGE reasons we created a private chat for Timewalking Guild mates new toons to level cap. Your ability to make continue stuff up instead of going “Sorry I made fun of your dog dying.” is disappointing.

No problem, like I said there’s a lot of screenshots on the thread I posted about this on twitter if you would like to see actual evidence that straight up contradicts everything the GM is saying in the replies here. I can’t link here but I can DM you if you’d like.

I’m not even joking everything he says is so quickly debunked when you realize I have actual screenshots as well as when you see that my following is large enough to where even the World of Warcraft subreddit picked up on this and there was a post about it.

Who cares about raffles, if you’re so hard up for gold, go do some dailies. I just made 10k in like 4-5 min doing them, with no combat on in K’aresh on 2-3 toons. And swearing or any representation of it can be reported.

The player is likely upset because we do a monthly inactivity kick, and his alts were removed. Normally that is our biggest complaint, but if you can’t be active for 20-25 days, then-you’re out? I’ve even kicked my own alts out.
Some of the newer members seem to rage when you tell them that, despite them knowing full well they can rejoin at any time, lol.

I think there are some far worse leaders out there, but I think the fact that we have 50-90 people online at peak hours per day means we must be doing something right, and raiding every single day, Normal to Mythic progression. Legion Remix raids often, dungeon runs, M+, and even PVP RBG’s.

We did livestream a 10 million gold giveaway in our guild, no denying that my friend. The player that won was so excited too, because he was able to buy Midnight w/ his winnings, and contribute to future giveaways.

We are indeed a little-club, a solid group of people that love our having a good time, and love to leave BS at the door, we won’t entertain trolls or people that are going to get disgruntled over small things, so good luck out there mate.

Most of the playerbase are people older that just want to have fun, the second you create drama, you’re out. There are no exceptions to this rule.

Exactly right? Some people come in with the expectation that we’re going to be giving them free-hand outs, that they become irate and leave because we didn’t give them gold. We had one guy throw a tantrum in Discord because he wanted people to give him 100,000g for repairs. Man, was off his rockers, but I don’t fix people like that, they end up weeding themselves out.

I beg to differ, im sure enough what you’ve done is going to public soon. You disbanded the guild and the officer you recently put back in: Corombes, when he was kicked or harressing other members and n@zi behaviour, he ratted out your plan to another officer you kicked for no reason. We didn’t believe him at first, but after i questioned you about the massive “purge” or in other words inactivity kick, you said to me that your disbanding the guild. The day you scheduled a massive gold giveaway of what you said to be 5 million, and its most likely the gold that you scammed off of your fellow guild members. You’ve twisted other people’s words in this page and your gaslighting them. We have evidence of what you’ve been doing. Your a h0rrible guild master and you do not value anything you have said that the guild represents

We Help Other People Excel. That’s the motto, right? This wasn’t about excelling, I’m more upset that I wake up to no discord, no guild, no notice, no info.

The raffle today would have been fun, sure, but this guild was about doing runs, having fun, showing off houses, a laid back experience.

I dislike that Guild Masters have so much control, and I’ve even ran guilds myself. If the GM ever gets the tiniest bit upset over one thing, hundreds of players could be left homeless and confused. So why did this GM get butt hurt at Christmas?

The fact that so many people also deposited gold into the bank js to enter the stupid and rigged raffle. So many people are probably confused as to why it was disbanded. The group chat im in has so much proof of this guild masters actions it should be enough to report to blizzard. Who knows how long hes been scamming people. He’s taken 30 million gold alone of players THIS YEAR

YESTERDAY I DEPOSITED 20K INTO THE GUILD BANK, TODAY I DISCOVER I’d BEEN KICKED FROM THE GUILD WITH NO WARNING OR DISCUSSION. I’m a daily player and had been helpful to others, never any arguments so I’m at a total loss. Lost all my housing stuff with the kick.

Joined 2 days ago got kicked out of the disc after serious inquiries into the PvP side of the guild and trying to set up a Guild RBG night. My friend and I both have done nothing or said nothing wrong just up and kicked this morning. I havnt checked my PC yet but I was kicked from the discord I can only imagine I was kicked from the guild too. Pro you have My discord.

Same issue. Been in the guild for a while. Was logged in on 12/25 for a few hours. Went to log on 12/26 and full kick. Is a return possible. Had no intention on leaving
