I can always feel the panic when I disarm a mm player. Steal their trueshot time… take their cds.
You can see the rage build within.
Rexxar smiles upon the rest of us. (I totally meant to post this on my hunter but I… failed)

It’s funny how you post this here while crying on the battleground forum about Marksmanship.
Is there any surprise that here’s a DK main with an SV Hunter alt talking about how he hates MM and it should be nerfed?
when this would happen to me, I would re-arm with my back-up, np. My pet wouldn’t miss a lick.
Hmm, that might have been r/l…
Hardly… LOL I have like 5 geared toons and this is not my main. Its funny how you assume… its my main.
And mm should be nerfed, its really out of place.
Yeah and Survival should be a ranged spec.
I think they should keep melee survival hunter and make one side of the tree more ranged wise and the other more towards meele so u can have both options
It’s not a good fit for Survival because:
So if they were to do melee Hunter, which should always been an extremely limited endeavour given the unpopularity of the concept, it should have been a subspec within BM e.g. a talented stance. It’s the best fit for everyone.
Are you saying that a pet is only bm’s identity rather than the identity of hunter as a class?
It’s a part of the class but close companionship and working with a pet is originally BM’s identity and it still represents that prominently.
We do not need melee BM and ranged BM as different specs in the Hunter class.
just like we don’t need DoT MM and no DoT MM as different specs in the hunter class?
There’s more potential thematic depth to ranged weapons than pets and they’re also more iconic and central to the class. So yes it makes sense to have just one pet-focused spec rather than diving it in two for ranged and melee.
actually there can be plenty of potential thematic depth to anything in the game. there’s nothing about your ranged weapon obsession that’s inherently more deep than pets
just to you
just to you
That’s a pretty big stretch and also entirely subjective
Nope it’s objectively and obviously the ranged weapon. Making a petless option for MM and SV required one talent. Making a melee option required a ground-up remake.
this doesn’t mean anything lol get real. again, your opinion isn’t objective. pets are an important part of the hunter identity
I’m saying it. BM’s identity is pets and that’s it.
I want this for BM. Have dual play-style melee/range.
Yes I would like this too.
It is BM identity:
Among the most gifted hunters, there are those who have from birth felt a profound bond with the creatures of the wild. These beast masters are drawn to the perilous primal world, invigorated by its dangerous and untamed nature. Primitive landscape becomes home. Ferocious predator becomes kin. Whether in the thrill of the hunt or the heat of battle, beast masters call forth a litany of vicious animals to overwhelm prey and gnaw at their enemies’ will.
Helios is asking if pets are ONLY bm’s identity and not the class’s identity.
Pets are an important part but ranged weapons are the most important part.
according to you*
