They haven’t officially confirmed it because Classic would be dead on arrival, if confirmed. I’m fully expecting no direct response from Blizzard until a week before launch.

Blizzard: We know we promised Classic. But in 15 years we have actually made active strives to make our MMO less of a MMO. And in the process of doing so actually got rid of the tech that allowed us to make an MMO in the first place and instead made a new system that cost us less money to host at the expense of our customers who supported us.

The people in these forums are nothing compared to the people that will be in classic. Talk about so much toxicity but i dont care really because you know, its FOS.
