The auto-squelch feature has not been in the game for 12 years. You’re confusing it for right-click report. Much like players confusing “sharding” for “phasing”. So if you’re advocating for right-click report that specifically gives the option for spamming , which automatically ignores the player and sends their name to a GM, I’m okay with that. If you actually mean the auto-squelch feature, I’m not okay with that.

As an aside, I do think right-click report for spam did make a difference in the gold spamming. That’s when they started making level 1 characters and client-hacking them into dying in patterns that spelled out their website URL.
