I was hoping blizzard would make at least one non complicated fun spec with a rotation of less than 20 buttons but all they did was complicate them further. Just how far will the players base need to drop before blizzard understands that people don’t like this crap.
Rogues will continue to be a dead class

Because all the current rogue mains are crack addicts with horrible mental health and tons of anxiety. If they touch rogues too much they’ll seek self help and not play the game anymore.

It honestly blows my mind that they are doubling down on button bloat when every rework so far had a focus of reducing button bloat. It makes no sense.

Ye the ret paladin rework gained alot of praise and was almost universally liked. And the ret pala reworked reduced the button bloat and instead focused on making the core roation more fun. It gave options to reduce button count even more and gave options to reduce the APM. I think more classes should have a templar strikes/crusader strikes talent, crusader strike as a builder tended to be a noodle slap so giving a talent where you can either make it more intresting or simple make it a passive builder depending on your choice was briliant.

Yeah It’s pretty clear this realz dev isn’t being held to the same standard for whatever reason. Not sure if they have a different manager or their leadership just gives them THAT much freedom.
All I know is that if I was this dev working on DH and Rogue…I’d be sweating thinking about yearly reviews when my work gets compared to the paladin dev.

considering how badly the classes have been with bugs, and how slow they are to tune and make any changes or fixes to the real problems, i doubt they have any sort of review on the actual game’s work. I’d be 100% surprised if they did, because IF they did, then they clearly give them 5/5 for everything just to do it.

Is button bloat the newest excuse for being bad?

No but calling people bad for not liking things that you like is a tale as old as time.

This guy clearly knows what he’s talking about. Heck, in 200 RSS rating he’ll be at the breakpoint where he can actually lose points when he loses games.
After a staggering 579 games he’s managed to break 1,000 rating by a whole 19 points. He is the leader we need to teach us what button bloat means, and how to use our brains.
Please, Great Rogue Messiah. Teach me the ways. I, too, aspire to be 200 hours of gameplay at a bracket underneath base MMR.

not true in the slightest. button bloat was supreme domination for skilled players. lol
i have went from around 250 macros/keybinds to down to about 50. if i had 250 macros/keybinds again, no one stands a chance.
cancelauras macros were a thing… removing skills being applied was a thing… like for instance, stoneform used to slow you way down to a walk… and in order to regain composure to continue figthing, removing stoneform was a way to recover your speed immediately…
using death from above, and cancelling it at the top of elevation to escape bad situations, or get to higher elevation was a thing.
i had at least 10 cancel aura macros… yet people complaining about button bloat. lol lol lol.

Can you share some macros?
Rogue is weird, the majority of the casual playerbase don’t like the button bloat and lackluster skills.
But the people who love it REALLY love it. That and the pvpers, but who cares what they think.
