Now I donât have as much skin in the game as some people, but I want an overall healthy economy that doesnât require me to invest hours upon hours in order to buy consumes or other necessary items because gold farmers and buyers hike up all the rates.
So people who participate in GDKPs spawn in with 1000g ready to spend on items?
If botting and swiping your credit card wasnât a thing, mage boosting is arguably the best source of gold generation and injection in the entire game. Thatâs literally what these bots do, sit at hyperspawns 24/7 looting, pickpocket botting, fly hack in dungeons.
you guys do realize that if the mage isnt selling the gold to other players , the gold just usually sits on the mage or their alt for gear thats bis and would be expensive anyways?
the most they are buying is pots or other such stuff that would remain about the same price either way.

this is also a small portion of the playerbase that is even capable of the wc pull or even the rfc one other than the first part of it which sells boosts for less than 1g to pull 100 mobs maybe.
its not as common for them to even be successful and not die every 3 runs in a row which alot of people dont even charge if they die but whatever.

How? Make a group and do it normally and it literally doesnât effect you at all.

I welcome you to try this. I have spent over 100 hours learning this and getting it down. It is NOT that easy. And the amount of mages I have had to try to help learn it and fail is nuts. Do not post my video and try to use it as an example. I am able to do what 0.001% of mages are doing atm.

You are so lost. There is a handful of mages that can do this and not a single one I know does anything with that gold RMT wise. I have farmed an insane amount of gold and guess what that gold is doing? Literally nothing. It just sits here and looks nice with the hopes of buying any consumable/BoE ide want in future phases.

Ty for having a brain. And yes I am indeed the mage in question and the gold is just sitting here looking pretty and going nowhere. ATM I know and have helped like 6-8 mages learn this. And, judging by the comments on the YT video it doesnât seem like many more are able to.

Yeah⌠If blizzard took the time to moderate the activity in their game we wouldnât have any of these problems, and mages could boost for legit gold and this would be a non-issue. Legit players doing boosts for gold literally doesnât affect anyone nor does it affect the economy. Youâre paying someone for a service. You cannot blame legit players for other people swiping cards. We merely benefit from them inconsequentially because being a mage all these years boosting etc. has been the way I make gold for raid consumes and gearing alts.
