Disappointed to see mage dungeon boosting present in SoD

Don’t get why classic community screeches about GDKPs but then is fine with this, which literally adds the most gold in the game (bots or not). On a fresh server with 0 bots, gold doesn’t just magically spawn. Looting and quests only give so much, this kind of stuff is what generates actual gold.

150g an hour is an insane amount, most players who have been playing consistently have around this amount, maybe double at most, after months.

All you people whining about the legit boosting that no most bots cant di especially in wc/rfc. I want to see just 1 of you a single one, make even 20g/hour and complete this farm method. Please post a video link, ill wait. It is dufficult requires skill and practice and some of yall complaining… from a lack of skill issue.

Mage healing is not a classic thing but ppl seemed like it.
But if you asking for any other changes you are told to play retail.

HOT TAKE, there’s just too much AOE. It trivializes a lot of content in many different contexts.

I personally don’t know that stuff but I’ve seen it since Classic Ph2 from the Pvp bracket boosting.

It does generate gold in the aspect of the loot depending how the booster goes about looting. Some share some take. But the payment is distribution of already earned gold.

But it really makes dungeons hard to find and ruins the whole MMO feel in the early levels.

although mages can do it the most efficiently when mastered, many classes can boost so nerfing mages won’t stop that.

Right now I’m doing it on my lock and hunter, and on alliance, paladins do it better (UD dungeons specifically) than mages

I see 2h warriors doing, rogues / druids selling individual boss loot…the list goes on and on.

Actually the only class that can do that are warlocks. Probably going to be nerfed next phase though so no big deal.

Mages should have never gotten the healing role, it doesn’t even match their class fantasy and they already have enough going for them in DPS.

More mages need to do it so the price per run goes down. Gdkps are infinitely worse than the mage runs. A mage run nets a mage 4g per instance lockout up to 20hr but a gdkp is infusing 5g per item drop and 10-15 per epic in one lockout. The people running lose make more than a mage does in 1 hr.

… It’s that easy?
I don’t ask that in doubt, I ask that in complete bafflement.

There is nothing wrong with spell cleaven at all. Does not effect your game play at all. People are that dumb to pay someone to level them then y even play the game. I have never nor will i ever pay someone to tank or run me thru dungeons cause whats the poi t of actually playing the game.

I made a human lock on living flame, can someone log in and boost me to lvl 3 plz?

Mages are the Best class for gold they don’t need to “Boost” for gold. boosting was banned in SoM.

Regardless of world buff where they admit they failed removing them, if i’m not wrong they Did not Say a Word about boost, maybe because the cap was lvl 25.

I think they Will kill boost for p2.

Rdf is more healthy than the boosting cr@p.

150g an hour at 8g a run is roughly 18 runs an hours at 3.2 minutes per run. None of that math makes sense. Thats clickbait for a youtube video.

Bots are not doing this. It takes hours of practice to get this kind of run down without dying enough to make it not worth it.

It might actually be even easier than that. They could just be modifying the value in memory which is storing your characters Z axis location and letting the client send the message containing that data for them.

Most hacks either abused the in memory information on their computers or do man in the middle attacks on the message being sent to the server.

8g per person per run, 4 people so 32g per run, 5 runs per hour, 160g.

I highly doubt any boosters have an endless line of people to get boosted tho, honestly for 8g per run the whole thing seems like more work to set up than it’s worth

Its lazy? Its harder than any content in the game, raids included.

LOL.

I assume they meant it was lazy from the perspective of those being boosted, not the booster themself.
