That intro killing off Dalaran and Khadgar was such a palate cleanser.
I was looking forward to a new era of not being called champion with main characters stacking plot armor like peoples alts in LFR getting Determination on the end boss of a raid tier.
I had felt something within me for the first time since the first patch of legion in the first 2 weeks of existing in the story. we had no help… no super powerful being is going to save us… and the world and what we did kinda mattered again.
But then it turned into another sappy laughable saturday morning cartoon villain arc with the heros getting saved after the commercial break.
I think I’m good. Metzen coming back was a good marketing ploy but after taking a few years off from this game and coming back, it’s really solidified my distaste on how much of a kids game this series has become. Its not even remotely palatable anymore. And that was kinda the last thing keeping me here.
I spent my gold bottoming out a few markets on the AH to help lower the cost of higher level herb/inscription mats. maybe be back next expansion. have fun nerds!

Since you clearly didn’t watch the interview with him where he explained that the .0 content is pretty much as it was before his return due to the amount of work already done we’re not going to see the direction he took the game in until later patches of TWW.
So, it’s your loss but we all know you’re not ‘leaving’ merely seeking attention … which you got, gratz.

They definitely did pull a lot of punches and I am also sick of them spending so much time with the same cast over and over when so many of the playable races are dying for more representation.

Imma just say it, i enjoyed DF story - I did zone out whenever Alexstrasza was in a cut scene, but it was way better than post season 1 of SL. Whilst i am confessing, i even enjoyed WoD…
