It’s just, rubbish. Why do you insist on making these raids LFR and only show us a few minutes of each raid boss?
Make them a real raid, make it so you need a premade group to join, it’s just sad the way it is. Join up, hit lust, 2 minutes later go to the next boss. Wipe and restart because the LFR crowd either on’t know what to do or simply die because “it’s only LFR”.
I am getting sick of this all inclusive business Blizzard has going on, it devalues what used to be and what is to come.

I preferred TW MC, at least you could “enjoy” the fights unlike this time

people learning how to do mechanics was kinda cool man…
getting everyone on the same page during heigan and such was actually cool to see.
LFR is a joke - i don’t think it would be nearly as rewarding just face rolling everyhing.
we face rolled with mechanics baby!

It’s even sader when you look at your raid and realise you just beat Arthas with half of them dead. Honestly, some people who join LFR simply die because the fights can still be won and that should not be allowed.

but there is no way to police people dying in raids because blizz cant know if they died because they suck or if they died because they are trying to get a free ride

I feel they struck a good balance. All 3 fights of each raid equal up to almost a full raid boss, and if you wipe on any of them then you have to start from scratch. It captures some of the most memorable fights from the 3 expansions in a way that doesn’t have people wanting to tear their hair out. If Blizzard made it where we had to complete each fight fully, then it’d take hours upon hours. Everyone would also hate the event even more because Blizzard attached the exclusive mount to it, which would leave them feeling “cheated” or something. All in all I had fun with the event, I feel the most disappointing one was Nefarion as we didn’t actually get to fight him.

At least people don’t have to worry much about the difficulty to obtain the mount. It Is a limited time event.

At least you all get to do them to completion. Rogues get kicked out into the firelands and never get completion credit.

They somehow made something even easier and more pathetic than LFR.

Or you know, you could just go in and have fun with it. Kind of a walk down memory lane! I enjoyed it, was fun reminiscing.

Except it doesn’t. Some of the bosses may be memorable, some of them are not, but the way they done the fights was lacklustre. Like you pointed out, Nefarian, you don’t actually fight the guy, you just jump onto platform and kill the add. There is no time to plan which platform to go onto, where the healers are, you just jump onto a platform and hope for the best.
But that’s the point of something shiny, not everyone should automatically get it. Just because it is a special event with a one time mount does not mean we all should have such an easy ride to get it, it needs to be earned.
The whole memory lane thing is because you were there at the time, you took the effort to gear up, get into a raid, kill the boss and do something that may never happen again. Joining 25 other randoms does not have the same feel to it.

Well that’s why I pointed out Nefarion. But for many of the others I had a great time, such as watching people screw up defile on Arthas. I even saw people run towards the edge when he made the platform collapse and fall to their deaths, it was hilarious. The group I was with had some trouble on Archimonde, and we had an instant wipe mechanic on Ragnaros. All in all, it wasn’t overly difficult, which for the general audience I thought was fine due to the occasion.
As for the mount, I believe this is meant to be a celebration of 15 years of Warcraft for all its fans. If you want something shiny and exclusive that’s overly difficult, that’s what Mythic Raiding mount is for. Or perhaps the elite Gladiator mounts. There’s content out there for people chasing that super exclusive shiny thing that the average player will never see or get. I feel the 15 year anniversary event isn’t meant to be for the best of the best, it’s meant to celebrate everyone who has supported Warcraft over these past 15 years.

Was looking forward to this event because it sounded fun.
We walked in and auto attacked the boss for 2 mins and were done.
Actually depressed because it wasn’t even enjoyable.

There weren’t any mechanics. Especially on Heigan. He dies before you finish half a safety dance.
No idea! It’s just bugged. Partway through the fight rogues just get warped out into the firelands and can’t rejoin the raid til it’s over and get no credit and no loot. Happened a half dozen times, every single time I’ve tried to get the mount. Great fun, Blizz is a good company.

Then might I suggest a nice single player game where you don’t have to worry about anyone else.

It’s supposed to be fun. Remember that? Fun?
I found it amusing, even when I died because I didn’t know how to do the dance, and when I fell off the tower against Arthas.
Y’all are taking this thing too seriously.

You do understand that the point of the event was to celebrate the 15th anniversary of World of Warcraft, not bolster your e-peen?
