We need to change the current conduit upgrade items before 9.2 to help alts!
I recently got an alt in Korthia and I was soo happy I didn’t have to grind the reputation to exalted again. Such a relief. But I quickly found out that the 226 conduit epic upgrade that drops randomly, and the purchasable Death-Bound Shard’s “fine print” is painfully true…
These only upgrade one conduit in stages. Not to 226, but to 213 in steps. Even the expensive one that takes hours of farming relics doesn’t instantly upgrade your 200 conduit to 252.
This seems quite unfair, especially for alts, and I’m asking that this gets changed considering 9.2 is around the corner. Alts deserve to catch up and it would be nice if the 226 items upgraded a 200 conduit to 226, and the 252 upgraded to 252.
That way we could at least farm 3 upgrades per day, and most of us have soo many conduits, we probably won’t have all of them maxed before 9.2 (even with this change) but of course that would be nice.
It would give us a chance to improve 
Please blizzard! would be a great gift to help us alts out

This needs more upvotes, theres no need to have an item to give +3 item levels at this point in time, it would be a great thing to make that same item upgrade it instantly to set item level as you suggest

100%. We have less than 2 weeks to get alts raid ready if we are switching.
This grind has been pretty rough in 9.15.

You can also get upgrades from loot chests and rares in Korthia, from covenant assaults in the Maw, and from Torghast. I think I’ve gotten them in Calling boxes, too, but I can’t say for sure. That’s for the 226 upgrades. The 252 max upgrades are a little harder to obtain, but Adamant Vaults definitely gives 1 per week.
But they don’t guarantee a 226, can be a 213, so you need 2 of them for every 200 conduit for your class. Its rough.
They’re pretty common… I find myself deleting them pretty quickly as I’ve been ramping up my alts.

Pops all your conduits to 226 in one go.
But raid ready for next tier is considered 252 right now

Nobody wants to do korthia again. Blizzard, stop it.
then do it the right way and earn it instead.
Why change them? They’re just going to get deleted from the game in fewer than 2 weeks.
Because I want to get a new alt ready for raid in 2 weeks. I plan to raid on it.
