I am a bit disappointed that Faithful Dog is only common instead of Rare…I would of thought after all the years of following and keeping up with Dog we would get a Rare …since they can not be cage to be sold…would of been nice to have him rare.

How much does that matter for a pure non-battle companion animal? Is this just a vanity thing?
I can’t remember if you can battle-stone them to be rare.
We used to be able to upgrade non-combat companions to rare, but Blizzard removed that ability.
At least on WarcraftPets all non-combat pets are calculated as rare for your site PetScore
