I think its only 4mo.

Gotcha.

Last time I had an item restored was in original BC through the ticket system. You know, back when they actually paid people to take care of the game.

I accidentally sold the item because it had a common icon.

Don’t laugh…

It was a Luffa, and I never even used it once.

No one is saying that because its one item that is hardly make or break in arena. But once again… When I played OG Vanilla 16 years ago as a child I knew not to vendor Skull. I’m sorry you don’t have the same sense as most children I guess?

Why would you ever get rid of the Skull?!

Good point, and that’s why I made this post, to hopefully make it more balanced.

Again, your completely missing the point of trying to achieve better game play and balance. With your pretentious ideas about how “everyone should have played back then” and “everyone should have know this already”.

Blizzard disabled many other items (lvl60 or lower) in Arena for a reason.
This post is about trying to add [Skull of Impending Doom] to that List.

Have a look at how many high ranked Priest run it.
Its almost a mandatory item for them now. Cuz its an Easy Off-Hand Swap in.

This is TBC. That’s not the point. Better balance has never been on the table. At all. I dunno why you thought it was but… :man_shrugging:. If you want to argue over whether X item or class is balanced vs Y there’s a very popular version of WOW just for you. But this aint it. This is a recreation. Which is why it should have been very easy to figure out that Skull was good in a number of areas, even outside of pvp, so you don’t vendor it. It’s like people who didn’t pick flask. Unfortunate… but prevemtable and entirely on them. Because this is a recreation of a 15+ year old game…

Kapeesh?

Skull of impending doom is only useful against rogues/mages.

If anything this makes the game more balanced, it’s not like those classes need any help.
The reason why it’s so strong right now is because A LOT of the teams you gonna face against will either have a rogue or a mage in it.

It deals 60% hp to the user over 10 seconds, just hit them?

Anybody who does not understand why giving a priest a 60% movement speed increase is game-breakingly oppressive is not worth responding to.

You mostly use that to avoid cc (blind and sheep), once you get a blind or a polymorph off you, you unequip it, sou you usually only take 1 tick of damage.

It’s particularly strong at low ratings where every rogue you fight against will pretty much telegraph when they are about to blind you.

It’s particularly strong at all ratings cause crowd controls matters.

Because you clearly don’t play TBC Arena, otherwise you would have know that Blizzard has already made #SomeChanges. Such as the removal of the Tornado from Nagrand Arena and the reductions in cost to PvP gear. Among other changes to TBC.

If you are here to just roll over and accept the game as it is, without trying to give feedback and attempt to improve it, then why are you here?

To tell us about your life story? How you known about this since your were a kid or some rubbish. And that everyone should have known also.

We don’t care!!! We are here to give feedback and try to improve the game.

Yep, Agreed!

Spot on!

Could also be used to break Hunters Freezing Trap.
Will be interesting to see Hunters complain about this item next season, when most of them will Switch from BM to Survival or Marks.

Literally all those things happened in TBC

Thanks for trying

IT should be disabled, being able to skull blind or sheep is huge. There is no shortage of mage and rogues in TBC arenas.
