Does anyone know how to disable mouseover tooltips in our bags or at least move them? I haven’t found an addon that will do it now. Bagnon, TinyTooltip, Tiptac, don’t have this option.

You can do it in the built in Edit mode. It’s listed as Hud Tooltip, click the box next to the option, move the square and save.

I appreciate the response but when I open my bags and mouseover an item the tooltip is still there. I’m not using addons with tooltips either.
Then one of your addons is likely messing with the Edit mode. Disable all of them, do the edit, save it then re-enable the addons and it should work.
No addons at all, not even an addon folder. Hud checked, box moved, tried different locations but bag tooltips still display over/near the item in the bag.
Do you have the open tooltip at mouse option checked in the settings?

Sorry, was wrong it’s only open loot window at mouse, not tooltip and looking in game just now my tooltips on stuff in my bags opens at the mouse as well. There might not be anything you can do.
There is the Addon Move Anything, there might be an option in it, but finding anything in that bloated mess of an addon UI is a pita.
You are correct about Moveanything! I used it for years until Blizz messed with the UI. Now the addon is glitchy at best. Thanks for trying and have a terrific day!
Sorry I couldn’t help. I’ve never even realised the tooltip worked differently for stuff in your bags. Hope you can find something to fix your problem.
Tiptac should be able to move the tooltip location. I have mine set to the topleft for targets and at cursor for bag items. I am like 90+% all tooltips can be made to adhere to user set anchor point (like I’ve done only with targets).

Thanks, I did try Tiptac but could not get the bag items away from the cursor. That’s the one I want to move. I don’t like it hovering over my bags.

I used the hud tool feature to set the box on other parts of my screen so it is not over my bags, this is found in the edit feature, hope this helps
