Disable followers in WPVP

Beyond the fact that they are not at all balanced around helping people fight other players. there is a major issue:

The AI for all followers is non-existent. Beyond the fact that they are dead weight gating mechanics that follow us around, they will also do any and all of the following:

  1. Get you stuck in combat fighting a random critter that can somehow spar and win, even after you’ve glider jumped across the zone.
  2. Drop you from stealth because they pathed using Google Maps and walked through 15 mobs to go down a small hill, just because a rock is there.
  3. Hit a random enemy target that you are NOT trying to kill or focus because there’s an elite on your face.
  4. Constantly be annoying AF and repeat the same dialog whenever they pop up.
  5. Randomly despawn for literally hours at a time.
  6. Get stuck on a different shard, somehow.
  7. Break CC
  8. ‘Die’ and keep you in combat until they revive, and not a moment before.
  9. Block what you are trying to interact with because for some reason the hitbox for them is insane.

Can you PLEASE just remove these stupid things from the game? Just have us repgrind for the stupid essence or something with dailies. This is is giving me cancer with how poorly implemented this system is, and how there was clearly 0 oversight given.

Edit: Added hitbox issue because I forgot it since I’ve been on my rogue with 0 gathering professions.

I think your number nine is the only one I’ve ever experienced. Once they get some levels they are kind of helpful, more dps and CC. I think I’ll keep mine.

The Peon guy is very good , very nice healing . I will keep him.

I may try that one next. I tried the tank warrior one on an alt and he just taunts and insta dies.

The healer works good for me … I have enough firepower to not need DPS help . Just need someone to keep me alive.

Makes sense really. Especially as the patch goes on and our gear gets better and better.
