Yes I’m aware you can disable this in interface; despite the fact that their gold invites still spam you in chat. Regardless this isn’t a vanilla WoW thing so i have no idea why blizzard decided to leave this feature in Classic WoW. This has been going on for over a week on my server. Hotfix this crap blizzard.

At least it’s not blocking your view anymore. Or annoying you with a jingle when they whisper you. It’s come a long way.
They should just enabled the option by deafult and force people to opt out of it.
no its a feature that wasn’t even in vanilla wow; that’s being used to advertise for gold selling.

It’s seriously annoying that even using the interface option to auto-ignore them doesn’t actually make them go away entirely.

This! It’s a shockingly bad design choice to have the body of the message still appear. Someone actually made a conscious decision to implement it this way, and I can’t wrap my head around it.

Its not about placing blame… its about hot fixing something that should be easily fixed and unanimously agreed on by players.
