Is there a way to disable this? Never played warrior before and i made a zandalari and the dude will not shut up. Wouldnt mind if it was less often and/or random. But every charge is giving me a headache.

most sounds make sense, i know thers is an addon called muteannoyingsounds but it only does the “classic” sounds like the train,sunflower, mail and plate armor sound when moving etc…
I had this same complaint when I had a Void elf female warrior. It’s literally a scream every charge and ability. It honestly forced me to race change ngl. Some races it’s more tolerable. Orc is fine, but Maghar is annoying too.

i genuinely thought i had an old yelling addon/macro enabled or something.
Yeah, my sound is off in game and I just listen to music while I play.

on the core races its more tolerable but on on allied they are ridiculous.
If you can make a zandalari, they start at 20 and just do some simple combat its terribly bad.

Comparing the two, greens va sounds like she put a lot into it
Charge, Taunt, Battle Shout. My warrior does a lot of yelling. That’s why I spec into Anger Management.

I don’t have the menus open at the moment but if there is an effect slider that might do it. You’ll lose swing effects and other ability sounds but if you don’t want yelly boy that’s the best I got.
Honestly, I was totally in love with the idea of being a Zandalari Pally when they first got unlocked and ended up race changing to BE after hitting 120 because I could not stand the sounds while playing it. I don’t even mind the game sounds but the Zandalari just sound way over exaggerated to the extreme.

The charge sound effect was one of my favorite characteristics of warrior since vanilla. But Blizzard absolutely destroyed it with this heinous shout. I no longer play warrior. Sad

I prefer calm Lofi beats or movie soundtracks while I barrel through and slaughter my enemies.
I hardly notice the yelling, maybe because that’s all I play I subconsciously ignore the yelling.
I do notice it quite a bit when there’s 2 or even 3 warriors in the group. Lol Hella noisy
I unedrstand your issue but seriously ?, i mean… it’s part of the fantasy the warrior cries in the front of the battle, if it’s annoying to you i say just mute the game and put some environmental music in youtube.
This thread is wild. I’m glad OP came back to tell us they stop playing warrior over in-game sound.
