When I attempt to use the mole machine from Direbrew’s Remote, it tells me “Target not in line of sight”.
Edit: I should mention that it was just outside of the Boralus bank. And now that I think about it, maybe the Fermented Deviate Fish shape change causes issues? Will try again later.
Just had that happen to me, I was on my druid, tried it with and without shapeshifting. I was inside the Dalaran Bank, which was never a problem before (I usually take the toy out of the bank, use it, and put it right back). I guess in an hour I’ll try to use it outside, just to confirm.
Edit: found the Direbrew’s Remote in this warlock’s bank. Tried it in Orgrimmar, outside, and it worked. So it’s either that it doesn’t like being indoors or it doesn’t like the Legion Dalaran. I guess I’ll have to test it again, changing one variable at a time. Another weird thing is that it didn’t transport me to the Grim Guzzler - it dropped me in the beginning of the dungeon, by the Abandoned Mole Machine and the questgivers.
After testing it again, outside, in Dalaran (Legion) - got the “Target not in the line of sight” error. So apparently the item doesn’t work in Legion zones anymore.

Happened to me yesterday in Stormwind. Something about “Target not line of sight”. Only takes you to the instance Enterance ever since the Cata old world revamp
