There’s a reason why It’s called WoW Classic and not WoW Alternate.
But its not wow vanilla.
They’re not devoting resources to have two separate games with constant updates.
Bards would be sweet. I’ve always thought that the BeastMastery spec for hunters should behave like the EQ Beastlord where you can buff different pet classes and do some viable dungeon tanking.

vanilla 1.12 had battlegroups actually.
the only real diff is layering which will be gone in phase 2. supposedly.
but do go on, i’d like to hear more about all these changes that dont’ consist of issues from using the legion version of servers. make it something noteworthy though, not ‘infernals dont’ murder newbies’. however much i’d prefer that to be in, it doesnt’ impact classic much.
fear would likely be the only noteworthy one. that i’m aware of anyways and that’s minor at best.

i’m just going to assume you aren’t aware they’re using the code/architecture from legion servers. the only other reason would be that you’re trolling.
Classic+ is the future and we’re taking a stand against the no changes people. we will drive them back to private servers…and if you want to get technical…there’s already been changes. No changes people are bad for classic and will kill it in the long run.
Huh. I started this thread saying it would be neat to develop new content based off of classic content and we have devolved into arguing over technical details about game code.

Think of your favorite book. Assuming you read those. If the author writes a sequel or series, doesnt mean the first book can never be read again.
I am not advocating changes to your precious classic. I am saying it would be neat to take the journey in a new direction going forward.
I’ve played pservers for years. I can play classic non stop with no changes. I have 50 character slots. Plenty of content. No changes.
I play classic and that’s it. I honestly have no plans to play any other game so long as classic is there for me.
I hope they keep classic servers open indefinitely.
I also hope they build a new game based off classic.
I would like both.

You can’t build a new one without destroying classic. Everyone would leave classic.
If it’s anything like the bfa squish, it would be more like level 1-10 and then getting gear that makes you equivalent to 80.

Private servers had changes, though. We don’t want changes.
Maybe you should go to private servers if you want Classic+.
Something else that would be neat is to do something with Ravenholdt.
And the Winterspring/felwood furbolgs.
