Dingy Iron Coin and overall pickpocket fencing Problem

Note: This is for my rogue alt.

I am trying to complete the quest “da big score” in Broken Isles and am stuck at 48/1000 dingy iron coins. I can no longer accrue them via pick pocketing and fencing the items. Frankly I get nothing any longer for anything I try and fence pickpocketing and the items do not show up in my inventory as before.

Per customer support I have:

  1. Removed all add-ons from the system
  2. Reset my UI per article 7549
  3. Scanned and repaired the game.

No success. The goods pickpocketed show up in the loot window, but are not deposited in my inventory nor are the acknowledged when I “fence” them.

Suggestions on how to fix this would be welcome.

have you got the lamp in your inventory?

the coins are a currency in Legion content.
…not a physical item like they were in WoD.

there is no need to “fence your loot”. it is turned into currency as soon as you pickpocket it.
