Dinged 120 finally....emissary quests?

So I finally hit 120. Feels good to be here finally. I’m in voldun and already finished 2 or 3 quest lines, and once I’m done finishing that and getting the zandalar forever achievement, all that’s left to unlock trolls/ maghar is a lot of reputation.

I’ve read about emissary quests on wowhead, but it’s such a cluster of a mess there I couldn’t find who gives these quests out. Are they in Org with eitrigg and others?

Also, how frequent are emissary quests? Daily? Weekly? Just curious. I’m pretty set on getting some allied races unlocked, so any info to get me there faster would be great! Thanks!

Go back to the mission table boat on the docks.
Nathanos will give you the quest (if you have the reputation for it, I think.)

One per day, but each Emissary will stay up for 3 days total.

Your world map will show you which Emissaries are active.

Here’s a good article for you and I’d also recommend the World Quest Tracker addon for better clarity.

It is the quests that show on your minimap once you hit 120 and get nathano’s fly whistle. They give you caches/AP/Money

Honorbound is fairly fast to get into exalted nowadays. If you want rep that badly then just do all dailies everyday you will get some extra money too.

Every day, a new emissary quest pops up. When you look on your map, you will see three circles on the bottom left or right. The emissary quests available are indicated by tabard logos in the circles. Mousing over the circle tells you what the rewards are and shows you your progress.

Since there are 3 circles and a new one pops up every day, each quest is available for exactly 3 days until it gets bumped off.

How emissaries work is simple: you do 3 or 4 world quests for that faction and you’re done. Go to the faction quartermaster and get your reward.

Finally, if you left click on the circle, it will put a border around world quests for that faction. It will also cycle the map between all the zones that have quests for that faction. This makes it really easy to find out where to go to get your emissary goodies.

Thanks for the very informative reply!

So if I get an emissary quest and have 3 days to do it, if I finish it in say, a few hours or so, that means the next day there will be another ready? If so, that’s great news.

Also, how long does it take to do an emissary quest? Days? Hour or two? Have to group up or just solo them?

Sorry for all the questions, just new to 120.

Each Emissary quest is to complete 4 world quests for that faction.
For example, Horde War Effort is up today, you just complete 4 world quests in Kul’tiras or a warfront(Darkshore or Arathi) and you’re done.
Generally they won’t take long to complete, but they are active for 3 days so if you take a day off here and there you generally won’t miss out.

The 3 emissaries you get are staggered time wise… you don’t get another one because you finished 1 quickly as soon as it popped up.
It takes 20 minutes to do an emissary and you can do it alone.

And good to see another Ele Shaman on the horde side. For the horde !!

Thanks again for replies folks!

And elemental shaman for life. After I finish grinding out rep, I’m gonna start a zandalari shammy next. By far the most fun I’ve had playing in awhile!

There’s a quest on the boat that will unlock them, but you do require to be Friendly with your respective factions first. Once you do it on one character, you can unlock them on alts immediately.

Each daily emissary quest shows up on your map at 8am server time. That’s 10 am central time.
