Blizz needs to bring back purchasing gear with Valor. In this system. So you can buy like tier pieces, and what not from the raid, things that matter to individuals up to normal difficulty. You’re able to get gear from any boss at the highest difficulty that you’ve cleared it on (kill heroic you have access to Normal and RF for xmog). If you feel like you’re getting gear at a good rate from all sources, you don’t need to buy it and save your tokens points for the fabled Dinar item.
This is gonna cost, let’s say, 3x more than the other pieces. because it buys you one piece of gear from any raid boss. The catch is you need to also give a token that can be earned from one of the bosses in the raid (or corresponding M+ difficulty) from specific difficulties to purchase this Dinar item. Using the specific token from the difficulty it promises the dinar you spend to be at the difficulty that it was purchased at. You can only obtain one of these difficulty tokens once per two weeks per difficulty and can only purchase one Dinar item per season.
This gives people access to the whole raids loot table without it feeling unfair to any one group. You can kill the first few M bosses or clear a few 10’s to get your mythic item off of Gally or OAB, but it will only ever be that one item. It would also get rid of the conversion Catalyst that’s in place. Or improve on it. (the token that turns items into tier gear)
Also I know what you’re all thinking “Ugh more currencies”, and honestly, same. But this would be a step in the right direction, give everyone what they’re after, at least one of them without killing all motivation to grind out gear early in the season. And acts as bad luck protection for those who can’t get what they need from the bosses they’ve killed 3 weeks in a row (looking at you House of Cards).
On paper this seems far better than the current iteration that Blizz introduced last week and would be a step in the right direction and keeps gear in the hands of the players that need it (not giving RF level players mythic track items so they don’t replace it next season).
