Dinar should be refundable

Like we could give back a piece we got, to get something else.

Raiding already has the most slowest, grindy path to gearing. In fact, M+ out pacing it by a WHOLE LOT.

If I get an item, then get a piece from M+ I am just gonna kick myself. I have 0 reason to spend my Dinar until I am done with almost all my gearing/M+ running because whatever I pick will either a)be replaced by M+ or b)I might get the drop I picked when doing the actual raid.

The 3 raiding Dinar tokens feel bad when you compare it to how fast M+ gearing, and vaults are.

The only thing that would give it value, is if we could either earn more or refund items to get other items as we fill up our slots. What good is a currency if it’s so limited your best way to optimize spending it is by holding onto it?

As someone who PVPs i would love to be able to refund my Dinar for just more conquest.
Like this week, my vault gave me a belt, and the worst pvp trinket in the game ( The one that auto casts if you are CCed with something thats longer then 5 scond). I already have the legendary belt. Literally both of them were the worst possible upgrade for me, actually downgrades. I would have been happy if i could have jsut exhanged all that for like 300 conquest or something.

Not really if you target your bis pieces. I know I won’t ever do mythic raid so a heroic gavel will be my bis.

I think it just highlights a huge flaw with WoW loot.

It is so hard to target a drop, so anything that lets us then runs the risk of RNG making our choice feel bad if it drops again soon after.
I got some Fated Nathira BoE stuff cheap at the end of week 1 and since then I’ve had several drops for the same slots and it feels bad to just have 3 or 4 pieces of loot drop that are instantly invalidated by previous choices.

It would be nice if the Dinar system had something to work around this, but it would be unlikely to ever happen.

I would’ve used my dinar and heroic upgrade thing on a gavel, but I haven’t killed jailer on heroic yet and it would feel really bad to rng gavel after using a dinar on it. no lfr gavel either :frowning:

So you actually dint want to get any of the raid trinkets…
Not a single one looks bis to you huh.
Doubt that.

You’re meant to buy bis. Like, a piece you won’t replace.

Seriously, OP is out here buying ilvl upgrades instead lmao.

Both my trinkets were green 226’s from the ZM guy so I defiantly grabbed one of those.

Yep, even a scrub like me took the time to look up BIS and made sure I made the right choice.

Pretty Sylvanas Dagger, nice Sylvanas Dagger, who’s a good Dagger, why yes it’s you.

Orly? How many m+ do I have to do to get 14 pieces of 311 gear? How many m+ so I have to do to get a Gavel, OWS, and reactive shield?

Just asking for a friend.

Think of the dinar system as a bad luck protection system while gearing up. Since I only raid heroic I won’t get my bis anything at the 291-298 ilevel. It will just help along the way. Personally I picked up the Jail polearm at 298 for my hunter to get me by. I might replace it at some point and if I do no big deal. It’s a short season so once I get ksm it doesn’t matter anyways.

I agree with most of this post. 3 is not enough and it takes too long to get. Speed it up.

Refunds? If they plan to do something like this in the future, we should be able to refund just incase they nerf an item.
