If we buy an item that we can’t equip by using dinar - do we still get the transmog for that item?
I know Druids can buy the gavel and get its xmog even though they can’t ever get the item to drop from the boss, but is that only because they can technically equip 2h maces?
No, only buy items you can equip if you want the mog.

Set the vendor filter from “Warlock” to “All.”
Purchasing it on your lock won’t unlock the transmog (since you can’t equip 2h maces) but you’ll be able to use it for your felbud since it’ll exist in your bags.
