The amount of L’s this season is having is impressive even by Blizzard standards. So much so, that I strongly believe this patch was outsourced to people that don’t even play the game.
3 weeks wait time and a mythic Gally kill to get a myth Jastor Diamond so I can finally replace this cursed circlet for a 1% dps increase (calculated ofc) is nothing short of a Greek tragedy.
As I type this, 162 guilds have gone 8/8 mythic. At a bare minimum that’s 3,240 people on the entire planet that get access to this incredible gatekept advantage of 1%.
Our guild casually mythic raids and when we downed the first boss a week ago on mythic we were like 1800 in the region. So like 36k people minimum have access to the first boss loot table.
If they have a sub count of 4 million. That’s about 1% for NA. For a sub count of 2 million that’s about 1.8% for NA. It’s really not that hard to believe Mythic raiding just isn’t good content.
The truth is developers do not play the game they developed, which is equivalent to “outsource” I guess. However they did play WOW before, just not the current team.
In addition, they make adjustment and updates solely and exclusively based on their in-house data department.
If you want Mythic loot, raid Mythic. If you don’t raid Mythic, pvp at the highest level or push keys at the highest level, a heroic jastor (or trinket) will be just fine. This is bad luck protection, not a loot-mart.
At week 13 in the season, who is this harming again? Genuinely curious why 2 pieces of free loot netting to negligible gains is a big deal. Being ok not getting them isn’t the question here.
because a player can be doing M+16s some of the hardest content in the game and not be able to access bis because its locked behind raid kills. you still have to do content for the crests to upgrade the gear they arnt just handing it out…
