Dinar gear requires Mythic boss to be killed for Myth track piece

The amount of L’s this season is having is impressive even by Blizzard standards. So much so, that I strongly believe this patch was outsourced to people that don’t even play the game.

3 weeks wait time and a mythic Gally kill to get a myth Jastor Diamond so I can finally replace this cursed circlet for a 1% dps increase (calculated ofc) is nothing short of a Greek tragedy.

As I type this, 162 guilds have gone 8/8 mythic. At a bare minimum that’s 3,240 people on the entire planet that get access to this incredible gatekept advantage of 1%.

Just WHY.

whats the problem, just buy tokens to pay for a myth raid clear… what are you poor?

Mythic raiding guild: “Would you like to buy a carry?”

They’re trying to make Mythic Raiding more enticing.

Like locking behind more goodies behind content that less than 1% of the playerbase actually does will help that metric.

lmao.

You should have to kill the boss to get the ilvl for it 100%

More than 1% plays it. Stop making up numbers.

Considering the amount that get ce is 4-5% on average that’s not even factoring the amount that mythic raid and don’t get ce

Our guild casually mythic raids and when we downed the first boss a week ago on mythic we were like 1800 in the region. So like 36k people minimum have access to the first boss loot table.

If they have a sub count of 4 million. That’s about 1% for NA. For a sub count of 2 million that’s about 1.8% for NA. It’s really not that hard to believe Mythic raiding just isn’t good content.

The truth is developers do not play the game they developed, which is equivalent to “outsource” I guess. However they did play WOW before, just not the current team.
In addition, they make adjustment and updates solely and exclusively based on their in-house data department.

If you want Mythic loot, raid Mythic. If you don’t raid Mythic, pvp at the highest level or push keys at the highest level, a heroic jastor (or trinket) will be just fine. This is bad luck protection, not a loot-mart.

Even though it makes total sense I’m actually surprised Blizzard did this.

So why exactly is it an L that Blizzard isn’t giving you free Mythic gear when they never did it outside of meme seasons?

You gassed yourself up for something that was never promised.

Seems fair to me. If you want the gear, do the content.

2 pieces of gear before the next patch drops is not a loot-o-mart. I’m sorry if you feel that way.

Its meant to be bad luck protection for very elusive drops like a jastors or the crazy trinkets. So 2 items is fine.

At week 13 in the season, who is this harming again? Genuinely curious why 2 pieces of free loot netting to negligible gains is a big deal. Being ok not getting them isn’t the question here.

because a player can be doing M+16s some of the hardest content in the game and not be able to access bis because its locked behind raid kills. you still have to do content for the crests to upgrade the gear they arnt just handing it out…

Pretty sure they cooked this up with Liquid and Echo because even mythic boosts were falling off. Need those sales.

It’s not really harming anyone, but there’s also not any reason that you need to get gear from a boss you’ve never beaten.
