Whoever designed the fight absolutely cooked with that fight. The intermission was very cinematic, flying through the rubble of devoured worlds and around his big laser. Mechanics werent that bad either. Overall well done and a good final boss.

Like the OP said, visually it is far superior…but mechanically it’s debatable. It’s much more involved with flying phases and other things, so it may not be for everyone.
I mean, just the scale of everything.

I’m hoping to see it today! Going to start pugging Normal, 689 ilvl should be able to handle it (although I’ll push a few delves for more possible upgrades beforehand).
I noticed the last phase was titled “Singularity” which made me think of the Devin Townsend song, so yeah, I’m ready to shoot a Void Lord in the face.
Think they are just crapping on the fact I did it on normal and am praising the fight, which is a weird thing but idgaf really

I didn’t like Argus, so yes.
You dont get it.
Normal Raid is easy and pleasant to many. But Heroic Raid is like another Beast. Many Guilds would struggle. It would take awhile.
I just hope the OP wont be miserable and frustrated when his guild struggle on Heroic Dimensius.

I’ve only done normal so far but yeah the fight was very fun, I can’t wait to do higher difficulties

What the hell is wrong with you? Are you that miserable? When I read your comment I picture the stereotypical scrunched faced frown person who just has something negative to say about everything. A petulant teenager or a middle aged Karen-esque type of person.
The OP mentions something good. And you just HAVE to chime in and be negative and pessimistic. Yea, heroic, especially on WEEK 1 is going to be a struggle. Before any tuning adjustments have been made to the fight at all. Before anyone really gears up aside from the higher end community.
And unless this toon is an alt, last season you were at 2.7k io and 7/8 heroic. So heroic for you, based on this toons io, is similar to me. Thats where I cap out. I get AoTC, each season. I PuG’d my way to 3kio for the first time. Not sure if I will this season. But, Heroic raiding is where I like to cap out on raid.

I cleared the fight on Normal last night in a PUG. I thought the fight was a lot of fun on that difficulty. And fairly easy on that difficulty. It looked fantastic as well. Mechanically it was pretty easy to understand. I will say adding a ground graphic on the intermission, aside from his big wind up for the punch, to show where the punch is coming would be an improvement.
