Why was this removed? It was so fun and such a cool looking ability…
Why couldn’t it have been worked into the spec? Maybe even give us a “lesser dimensional Rift” so it doesn’t take away from the power of the scepter
I just miss it. It made destro spicy. The spec is kinda bland now
Dimensional rift was pretty fun especially when the extra artifact traits came out and it had a chance to spawn a red portal.
Because Destro isn’t allowed to have nice things that are castable while moving.
Because that ability is a result of using the Scepter of Sargeras, and we sacrifice that power to help quell the energies from the Sword of Sargeras. Therefore, the Scepter’s power is gone, along with its ability “Dimensional Rift.”
Lots of specs kept their artifact abilities; Shadow priests, frost mages, fire mages, unholy DK…
I don’t see why destro couldn’t keep theirs
You could say the same for DK’s Apocalypse which they kept, along with several other specs. Lore shouldn’t be used to justify gameplay nerfs.
