To me the value from just pressing cobra is it extends concussive shot, and with animal companion I am pretty sure 1 pet can be cc’d and if you press KC it will go off but only 1 will cast it so it’s half value. Happens pretty often in arena too with aoe roots/cc effects. In the end I think the differences are minimal though.

I’d want to test it to be sure. Also it may be if main pet is cc’d it will not go off but will if the fake pet is.

you want that more frequent big dam top end hit for pvp even tho its the same dps over long periods, if u know what im sayin
the target dummy hits were only 1 use, noncrit
for the arena average i just qd up a skirm and pressed buttons, 20 cobra shots hit and 11 kill commands hit, ignored crits
small sample size but the numbers are certainly there. in terms of focus, ur getting about 90 dmg per pt of focus with kill command, and 81 per pt on cobra shot, which isnt that important in the grand scheme but now u know
in general, theres more dmg per gcd on cobra than on kill command, and if focus is a concern for u in a situation, then pressing kill command would be ideal, or if u want to get ur pets on a target quicker etc
i pay very little attention to the % modifiers on bm hunters in instanced pvp, but it would appear that kill command is pretty notably reduced while cobra shot is increased(or the tooltip is just counting for the extra vers), and over the course of that short game, cobra was 25.5% of my dmg while kill command was only 11.5%
if you have high mastery like me (30 entire points of mastery) your kill commands would eventually be stronger than cobra shot
Oh wow. BM is finally becoming more hands-on. And it’s not nearly as silly when I know that some of the best BMs in the business have been doing that.
Imagine not needing pets at all to be able to spam Cobra. It’s gotten more brainless, so much that nobody wants to how great SV is because it actually takes more effort, never mind MM’s…
Yeah and this is pretty easy to do. Pretty sad ppl and hunters are so sheep they hear one thing and abide by it without the slightest thought otherwise.
I mean for the most part good players already test things especially ssds
psure you can almost always trust something that guy is doing lol
But even he got the same conclusion w/ high mastery that cobra is better

Yeah why would players listen to the advice of a top tier hunter who literally plays wow for a living and goes above and beyond in theorycrafting and min-maxxing every aspect of the game. It’s almost as stupid as all those raiders who follow the advice of top raiding guilds.

You pasted all this info and didn’t even say what class armor type this was on. I can look my own recount and see that kill command is worth pushing I don’t need ur small sample size to make my judgement off of lol
