I’m trying to move Digsite Progress Bar up. It is underneath my Action Bars. I went to the HUD Edit mode, but none of the options does anything to it. I thought Extra Abilities would control it, but it doesn’t
I’m guessing that there will be no Archaeology in Dragonflight so there will be no problem to fix

Even if it is not, that should have been put under the “Encounter bar”… considering we don’t even have a movable enemy cast bar yet, I dont think it will be fixed soon.
The weird thing is that when i switched to the default classic or modern layout, the digsite progress bar moved on its’ own to the default location. It happens to be where I want it to be; not under my action bars. In my custom layout, the action bars take up basically the same space as both the classic and modern layout.
So why did it move there to begin with when I created a new layout?
As you move bars from their default locations, everything else shifts either down or to the side (depending on the item). There are a couple of UI options I’ve noticed that shift automatically but can’t be manually moved (bonus roll windows and the bags). The digsite progress bar is probably the same.
That’s helpful information actually.
When I was creating my UI, I went through a lot of iterations before I settled to where its’ at now. I think I’ll try creating a new one with the default modern as the starting point, and then import my current UI in one shot. That may provide a workaround. I’ll come back and let you guys know how it goes.
On a side note, my bonus roll windows are way too low as well and so this might take care of that problem at the same time.
EDIT: I tried it. it didn’t work. I ended up making a UI just for Archaeology where I moved my Action Bars out of the way. Not an ideal workaround, but it fixes the issue for now.
While we are on the topic of UI movement quirks… is anyone else annoyed that their bags now cover up the default location for right-most two icon bars? It’s driving me nuts.
I had custom spell icons for my target in that spot, so I feel your pain. It was tough to find a new spot for them but I managed. I’m trying to avoid it, but I may end up going back to a bag addon just so I can have a big bag version for my Bank.
I learned that if you go to a digsite then choose ‘modern’ while the digsite is active, the digsite progress bar moves up, then you can edit and save it as a new profile and the progress bar stays in the visible location…

BlizzMove is an easier move frame addon that works great for this. Simple Shift-Click and you can drag it to wherever you want. Also works on resizing the ridiculously huge profession windows.
I like it, however Blizzmove only temporarily moves things, so you need to redo your UI every time you log in, which is kind of a pain.
