idk why I keep questing in Searing Gorge, but every time I end up stuck on this quest for ever… because by the time you get him to Spawn some other person kills him before you can run over to him… then u dont get to loot the Dark ember.

So after all these years of this… Blizzard… will you please just make him a Mob that is just respawns instead of requires killing a ton of other nps to get him to spawn??? I sincerely Doubt ANYONE will be upset if you made this change… Thank you kindly for your time.

You should still be able to loot it. The ember is not something you loot from him. When he dies it drops on the ground as a small red gem next to him. Very easy to overlook. I’m pretty sure anyone can loot it, even if you didn’t tag the guy.

I finally was able to get it… and I dont know if its a issue of horde tagging it or what. but I hadn’t been able to click on the crystal that falls next to him “shrugs”… not going worry about it I guess till I get to the next toon XD
